Intimacy with your partner and your jealous dog – oh that’s fun!

Imagine this scenario: you and your spouse or partner are on the couch watching a movie and you start to fall in love a little. Maybe you’re kissing or just snuggling and then the dog comes. Just now, he was happily curled up on the ground and now he’s barking, whimpering, pacing back and forth, or maybe even jumping between the two of you and growling. If you are a dog owner, chances are you don’t have to put in a lot of effort to imagine this situation. It is not uncommon for dogs to become disruptive during their owners’ intimate moments.

So what is the problem? Is your dog jealous? Is it possessive or protective? Or are you just anxious and very nervous? The answer is that it could be any of the above. By observing your dog’s behavior closely, not just “in the bedroom,” but elsewhere as well, you can probably determine what you are communicating to him in those awkward moments. If the problem is so severe that you fear that your dog may be aggressive or bite someone, you should bring a handler as soon as possible. Most likely, the situation is not as bad or serious as this.

If your dog is anxious or nervous, you can easily identify similar behaviors in other situations. A nervous dog will show certain symptoms such as shaking, whining, excessive licking or chewing, excessive barking or even vomiting and diarrhea. If you detect any of these signs in your dog outside of the bedroom or inside, he may have an anxiety problem. This may be due to owner changes, new babies, a new diet, or a prolonged separation from the owner. In some cases, dogs have physiological issues that need to be addressed. Of course, for them, you will want to speak to your vet. However, if you only see the behaviors during your intimate moments, the act itself is making you nervous. The best and simplest solution for this is to turn the bedroom into a dog-free zone.

A potentially more serious problem is if your dog is possessive or protective of just one person. This could be the problem if you find him trying to get between you and your partner or if he growls, snaps, or barks excessively when he is around. This type of behavior can escalate and cause very real problems. There is a possibility that someone will be bitten. If your dog is protective, you should notice it in other situations as well. If you react this way when a friendly stranger approaches your protected person or when someone approaches you and their owner when they are sitting together or hugging, you may have a possessive dog. This is not healthy for human relationships or for the dog.

The possessive scenario is best handled by a professional coach; But there is also a strategy that you can try on your own. You and your partner should sit together on the couch. When the dog approaches and tries to get between you, get up and remove the dog from the couch. After a few seconds, sit back down and repeat the procedure. Keep doing this until the dog stops the unwanted behavior. Eventually you will realize that this particular behavior leads to being eliminated and you will stop. When he displays good behavior for three seconds while you and your partner are sitting together, reward him with affection, a treat, or both.

Years of experience, but also scientific research, have shown that dogs experience jealousy and possessiveness. They may be jealous of each other or of people. When it gets in the way of your relationship, it can really be a problem. If the problem is only in the bedroom, just make it a no-dog zone. If it happens elsewhere, you may need serious training with a professional to get your life back to normal.

Workbench Plans: Build a Workbench or Buy One?

Who Needs Workbench Plans?
Today my knees are really killing me, again. Even after promising myself that I would never try to build anything on the floor, last night I was in the basement, back on the concrete, trying to replace a vacuum belt. I tried to make the job more tolerable by throwing in one of those foam pads you look like for yard work. I even tried throwing away some old pillows and blankets, but nothing seemed to really work. Then I started thinking about those pro-style knee braces that I always see at Lowes, which I always overlook because I think I’ll only wear them once.

So today I decided that what I really need is a way to lift my work off the floor and keep it at a reasonable height … something my back will appreciate. That is easy. But where do I get one? I’m not even sure what “get” means at this point. I guess I’ve seen a couple of workbench kits at places like Home Depot and Lowes, but I didn’t actually see a huge selection. You could buy one of those bright red metal frame workbenches that have a particle board top and a pegboard back. Those workbenches would probably be easy enough to set up without too much trouble. I mean, if I’m willing to pay the $ 100 or so to buy it … and also if I have a way to fit those huge boxes in my car.

Build a workbench or buy one?
I guess I’m thinking that a simple workbench should be something pretty easy to build myself. And doesn’t it make sense to build my own … especially if I’m going to use that workbench to build more stuff? That makes sense. Also, a lot of the workbenches I’ve seen in other people’s basements look pretty simple … like they’re together with 2x4s. I could handle that. If only he could remember (or even understand) how it all went together. That’s the problem. Even with my rough sketches of the type of workbench I think I’d like to build, I’m still a bit confused as to what kind of joinery I should use at the corners where the legs meet. After all, I’m not an engineer and I don’t want this to wobble all over the place after I install it.

A little help with a plan
What I’m looking for is just a little help with the overall design of the workbench. So with a quick Google search for “workbench design” and “workbench plans”, I see a lot of websites that say they can help me with a plan … and most of these I can get for free. At first I am quite excited that there is so much to choose from.

Carpentry or just work?
The first thing I notice from my web search for workbench plans is that the word “workbench” refers primarily to woodworking … which may not be exactly what I’m looking for. Here’s the proof: If you have no idea what a mortise and tenon joint is, then most of the workbench plans that come up in a Google search are probably not what you’re looking for. Actually, nothing against carpentry. In fact, I hope one day to delve into the fine craft of building fine furniture. That would be wonderful. Maybe build a crib for a grandson. If this is something you are leaning towards, then you should consider taking the leap to build (or buy) a good woodworking bench.

A workbench can be a beautiful store cabinet, actually. And seasoned carpenters take no more pride in having a beautiful workbench to show off to their friends. It is a very passionate hobby, where serious carpenters are encouraged and excited by just a little bit of sawdust in the air. That kind of things. But trust me, serious carpenters pay the bill for their passion for woodworking. Most really nice woodworking benches (made from hardwoods like oak or maple) will cost you no less than $ 500 for a kit (like on Rockler.com) or at least several hundred dollars worth of wood and materials alone. to build it yourself. Not to mention, you’ll also need some pretty fancy shop tools to build the really nice woodworking benches … like a planer, a drill, a milling table, that sort of thing.

Something simple
But back to my original problem, what I need is simply something to lift my work off the floor and to a reasonable height, and not spend a lot of money to do it. The type of bench I’m talking about goes hand in hand with really simple materials … like 2x4s and wood screws that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowes. And this is something that could even fit in the back of my hatchback (and save $ 50 on shipping costs). Heck, you can even slide 2x4s in the rear trunk with some cars (if you have an open panel behind the rear seats).

But I’m not ready to go to the lumber store yet. I still need to get a rough idea of how the 2×4 boards should go together, and then how many of the boards I will have to buy once I get there. This is where at least some kind of workbench plan can come in handy, especially if you want to get started on the project right away. Trust me, starting with someone else’s design can eliminate a lot (and I mean a lot) of the guesswork you would face if you designed your bench from scratch.

Find a simple workbench plan
If you haven’t noticed yet, there are tons of websites on the topic of building a workbench. However, be prepared to do a little research to find the kind of simple workbench design I’ve been talking about so far. Remember, most of the “workbench” plans you’ll find on the web are designed for fairly serious carpentry jobs. They might look good, but be prepared for instructions that require you to work on a planer, drill, router table, and a few other tools you’ve never heard of.

Free plans?
The next thing you will notice with your online search is that many of the listings advertise free plans. Trust me, I have thoroughly reviewed these “free workbench plans” websites and can tell you without hesitation that this is all rubbish. Like many things on the web, it is simply a ploy to get you interested in looking for something else … like a new cell phone or a free credit report.

A better plan … less than $ 10
My take regarding workbench plans in general is better to spend the $ 5- $ 10 and get something that looks more like what a real workbench plan should be, step by step instructions with nice illustrations, cutting diagrams, and shopping tips and techniques. What I’m talking about here are plans that have at least five pages of content (as opposed to the photocopied isometric drawings that some free sites have) and some reasonably good quality photos of the finished product. Photos alone can be a real life saver when trying to put everything together the way it should go.

Choose your first class in Diablo 3

Although the hope of landing Diablo 3 before the end of the year has been mercilessly crushed by Blizzard, the game is still on its way to launch in early 2012. And if you’re the type of person who likes to over-analyze things, like me, then it’s time to start thinking about what class you’re going to play.

Difficult decisions to make

After thinking long and hard, I think I have finally been able to make a decision.

Read on for my thoughts on the different classes, and hopefully you will get some inspiration for your own class choice.

Barbarian

Ah, barbarians. The simple life of “I see the enemy. Crush the enemy with large pieces of solid metal.”

There is something wonderfully attractive about this primitive character.

Getting into the heart of combat, swinging your preferred weapon (s) in wide arcs, laughing at your opponents’ weak attacks as they try to stop your bloody rampage.

However, I must say that I prefer a bit more subtlety in my characters.

Planning my tactics and striking with surgical precision appeals to me more than the berserker fury that the Barbarian embodies.

But for that experience of being a monster of muscle and steel, well, he might have to go back and give the Barbarian a chance.

Monk

The Monk embodies much of the feeling of being a spinning hand-to-hand force of death that you encounter in the Barbarian.

But where the Barbarian is pure power and fury embodied, the Monk is much more elegant and efficient in his attacks.

It moves with purpose and economy of motion that shows thought and purpose behind every stroke.

Now this is a style that’s more up my alley.

The melee carnage of the Barbarian, but with the elegance and dignity that I prefer.

But while I think the Monk is a really cool character, there is something about his appearance that makes him feel a bit bland to me.

I think the way he’s * not * a mountain of giant muscles like the Barbarian helps give him a distinctive style of his own. But her understated style and simple robe don’t have the flamboyance and flair that I would like from my Diablo 3 character.

Demon Hunter

Now the Demon Hunter is a true badass, armed with lethal rank weapons and ready with a huge bag of tricks for any eventuality.

The simple fact that they call you “Demon Hunter” is pretty cool in itself, you know?

However, the Demon Hunter is the rogue class from Diablo 3, and I’ve never really dug the rogue classes.

While I am totally in favor of planning your moves and dispatching your enemies efficiently, I have never had the same satisfaction from stabbing an enemy in the back or shooting them with an arrow, as placing the head of an ax between their eyes. . or smash them to pieces with a fireball (I am a sick person, but acceptance is the first step to cure, they say).

So while the Demon Hunter is definitely a cool customer, I’ll have to give this class a pass.

Witch doctor

The Witch Doctor is the class that most closely resembles the Necromancer from Diablo 2. And the Necromancer was my main character, so instantly there is +1 point for the Witch Doctor.

Being able to summon zombie dogs or bats that are on fire is also undeniably pretty sweet. Who needs intense planning and surgical precision anyway, when you can unleash flaming flying mammals in large swaths against your foolish opponents?

Hmm, but I have to say that while I find the Witch Doctor’s “tribal” art style distinctive and a bit neat, I don’t know if I really want my character to run around with a loincloth and a big feather. headdress (deja vu from my last time at the local carnival)

I’m going to put you on the maybe pile, witch doctor. Please don’t attack me with a plague of toads for my decision.

Wizard

That leaves us with the magician.

And considering that I have gone “nah” or “meeeeeh” to the previous four classes so far, let’s hope we get gold now.

Fortunately, the Wizard has everything under control.

I have always liked magic users. I just discovered that the flashy pyrotechnics of toasting your opponents with conjured flames, combined with swirling robes and glowing staves, make for a winning combination on the cool table.

And the Wizard in Diablo 3 comes equipped with some suitably impressive spells, including my long-lost friend from the first Diablo game, the summoning of “Hydra” that shoots fire. What better way to kill your opponents than by creating flaming dragon heads that spit fireballs?

I laugh in the face of your picturesque “arrows”!

So for me the choice is pretty clear. I will join the robe he wears, casting spells, flaming dragon head summoning ranks of the Magi.

But I’m already looking forward to trying several of the other classes on my second and third play of the game.

The question then will be, if my second character should be a barbarian or a witch doctor …

Chronicles of Madness – Episode 33

In our Madness Chronicles episode 33, we’ll take a look at the insanity of the strange coincidences of the 2020 elections. Remember, insanity is a state of mental illness, serious and extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at some strange coincidences from the 2020 election.

President Donald Trump received 11 million more votes in 2020 than when he won the election in 2016, but was defeated. On the other hand, we are told that Joe Biden received more votes than any candidate in American history. Isn’t that fascinating for a guy who, with Jon Bon Jovi by his side before the election in Dallas, Texas, couldn’t attract more than 50 people? What a maddening coincidence.

Comparing candidate Biden to President Obama, we find that Biden won a record low of 17 percent of the counties or 524 counties compared to the 873 counties Obama won in 2008. Yet by coincidence, Biden somehow outperformed Obama in total votes. In his two races to the White House, Obama won more than 20% of the counties, but by coincidence, Biden lost 83% of the counties in the United States and won the election. It may be a Festivus miracle!

The most surprising coincidence of all the polls stopped in the top shifting states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia. The rocking states miraculously stopped counting at the same time with Trump at the helm. Then a few hours later, it was as if Bob Barker yelled, “Get down!” New votes came in described by Michael Snyder in his November 29, 2020 article.

  • At 1:34 a.m. ET on November 4, 2020, Georgia rose 136,155 votes for Joe Biden and 29,115 votes for Donald Trump.
  • At 3:42 a.m. CT on November 4, 2020, Wisconsin rose 143,379 votes for Joe Biden and 25,163 votes for Donald Trump.
  • As of 3:50 a.m. ET on November 4, 2020, Michigan rose 54,497 votes for Joe Biden and 4,718 votes for Donald Trump.
  • As of 6:31 a.m. ET on November 4, 2020, Michigan rose 141,258 votes for Joe Biden and 5,968 votes for Donald Trump.

Phew! Slow Joe pulled one out. If Biden had been awake in the basement, he would have been sweating bullets. Amazing coincidences, huh?

How close was it? Well, it was a coincidental suspense like no other. Biden won Wisconsin by less than 1%, Pennsylvania by just over 1%, Georgia by less than 1%, Arizona by less than 1% and Michigan by just 2%. About. But the Scranton Slugger pulled victory straight out of the chilly November air.

It seems that the key to his “coincidental” victory was his urban strategy. Cities like Milwaukee, Detroit, Pittsburg, Philadelphia and Atlanta were the key to Biden winning those states. Biden won a flood of black votes in those cities in a ‘match’ of epic proportions. By contrast, Trump won a record number of black votes for a Republican candidate. Talk about a Hail Mary.

The 2020 elections were a ‘coincidence of the ages’.

May we wake up from this madness before it is too late. I wish you good health, and until next time, have fun, enjoy life, and watch out for the madness between us. It’s 2020 and it’s getting out of hand.

The need for information governance and data classification to comply with the GDPR

Approaching the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective as of May 2018, companies based in Europe or that have personal data of people residing in Europe are struggling to find their most valuable assets in the organization. : your confidential data.

The new regulation requires organizations to prevent any personally identifiable information (PII) data breach and delete any data if requested by anyone. After deleting all PII data, companies will need to prove that that person and authorities have been completely removed.

Most companies today understand their obligation to demonstrate responsibility and compliance and therefore began preparing for the new regulation.

There is so much information about ways to protect your confidential data, so much so that one can become overwhelmed and start pointing in different directions, hoping to hit the mark with precision. If you plan your data governance ahead of time, you can still meet the deadline and avoid penalties.

Some organizations, primarily banks, insurance companies, and manufacturers, own an enormous amount of data, as they are producing data at an accelerated rate, changing, storing, and sharing files, thus creating terabytes and even petabytes of data. The difficulty for these types of companies is finding their sensitive data in millions of files, in structured and unstructured data, which unfortunately in most cases is an impossible mission to carry out.

The following personally identifiable data is classified as PII according to the definition used by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST):

o Full name

o Home address

o Email address

o National identification number

o Passport number

o IP address (when bound, but not PII by itself in the US)

o Vehicle registration plate number

o Driver’s license number

o Face, fingerprints or handwriting

o Credit card numbers

o Digital identity

o Date of birth

o Place of birth

o Genetic information

o Telephone number

o Login name, screen name, nickname or identifier

Most organizations that hold PII from European citizens are required to detect and protect against any PII data breach and remove PII (often referred to as the right to be forgotten) from company data. The Official Journal of the European Union: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 has declared:

“Supervisory authorities should monitor the application of the provisions in accordance with this Regulation and contribute to their consistent application throughout the Union, in order to protect natural persons in relation to the processing of their personal data and facilitate the free circulation of personal data in the internal market “.

To allow companies that hold PII from European citizens to facilitate a free flow of PII within the European market, they need to be able to identify their data and categorize it according to the sensitivity level of their organizational policy.

They define the data flow and challenges of the markets as follows:

“Rapid technological advances and globalization have posed new challenges for the protection of personal data. The scale of the collection and sharing of personal data has increased significantly. Technology enables both private companies and public authorities to make use of of personal data on an unprecedented scale in conducting business. Individuals are increasingly making personal information available to the public and to everyone. Technology has transformed both the economy and social life, and it should further facilitate the free flow of personal data within the Union and the transfer to third countries and international organizations, while ensuring a high level of protection of personal data. “

Phase 1: data discovery

So the first step that needs to be taken is to create a data lineage that will help understand where your PII data is dumped in the organization and help decision makers to spot specific types of data. The EU recommends getting an automated technology that can handle large amounts of data, scanning it automatically. No matter how large your team is, this is not a project that can be handled manually by tackling millions of different types of hidden files in various areas: in the cloud, local storages and desktops.

The main concern for these types of organizations is that if they cannot prevent data breaches, they will not comply with the new EU GDPR regulation and may face heavy penalties.

They need to name specific employees who will be responsible for the whole process, such as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who primarily handles technology solutions, a Director of Information Governance (CIGO), usually an attorney who is responsible for compliance, and / or a Compliance Risk Officer (CRO). This person needs to be able to control the entire process from one end to the other, and to be able to provide management and authorities with full transparency.

“The controller should pay special attention to the nature of the personal data, the purpose and duration of the proposed treatment operation or operations, as well as the situation in the country of origin, the third country and the country of final destination. , and should provide adequate safeguards to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons with respect to the processing of their personal data. “

PII data can be found in all types of files, not only PDF and text documents, but can also be found in image documents, for example a scanned check, a CAD / CAM file that can contain the IP of a product, a sketch, code or confidential binary file, etc. ». Common technologies today can extract data from files, making the data hidden in text easy to find, but the rest of the files that in some organizations, such as manufacturing, may hold most of the sensitive data in image files. These types of files cannot be detected accurately, and without the proper technology capable of detecting PII data in file formats other than text, this important information can easily be lost and cause substantial damage to your organization.

Phase 2: data categorization

This stage consists of behind-the-scenes data mining actions, created by an automated system. The DPO / controller or information security decision maker must decide whether to track certain data, block it, or send alerts of a data breach. To perform these actions, you need to view your data in separate categories.

Structured and unstructured data categorization requires complete data identification while maintaining scalability – effectively scanning the entire database without “boiling the ocean.”

The DPO must also maintain the visibility of the data in multiple sources and quickly present all the files related to a certain person according to specific entities such as: name, date of birth, credit card number, social security number, telephone, email address, etc.

In the event of a data breach, the RPD will report directly to the highest level of management of the controller or processor, or to the person responsible for information security, who will be responsible for reporting this breach to the relevant authorities.

Article 33 of the EU GDPR requires that this violation be reported to the authorities within 72 hours.

Once the DPO identifies the data, the next step should be to tag / tag the files according to the sensitivity level defined by the organization.

As part of complying with regulatory compliance, the organization’s files must be accurately labeled so that these files can be traced on premises and even when shared outside the organization.

Phase 3 – Knowledge

Once the data is labeled, it can map personal information across networks and systems, both structured and unstructured, and can be easily traced, allowing organizations to protect their sensitive data and allow their end users to use and share. files safely, thus improving data loss. prevention.

Another aspect that must be taken into account is the protection of confidential information from insider threats: employees trying to steal confidential data such as credit cards, contact lists, etc. or manipulate the data to obtain some benefit. These types of actions are difficult to detect in time without automatic monitoring.

These time-consuming tasks apply to most organizations, prompting them to seek efficient ways to gain insights from their business data so that they can inform their decisions.

The ability to analyze intrinsic data patterns helps the organization gain a better view of its business data and pinpoint specific threats.

The integration of an encryption technology allows the controller to track and monitor data effectively, and by implementing an internal system of physical segregation, it can create a geographic data fence through definitions of segregation of personal data, geographic crossings / domains and reports on the violation of sharing once the rule is broken. . With this combination of technologies, the controller can enable employees to send messages securely across the organization, between the right departments, and outside the organization without being overly locked out.

Phase 4 – Artificial Intelligence (AI)

After data is scanned, tagged, and tracked, a higher value for the organization is the ability to automatically detect atypical behavior of sensitive data and activate protection measures to prevent these events from becoming a data breach incident. This advanced technology is known as “Artificial Intelligence” (AI). Here, the AI function generally consists of a strong pattern recognition component and a learning mechanism to allow the machine to make these decisions or at least recommend to the data protection officer the preferred course of action. This intelligence is measured by your ability to become wiser from each scan and user input or data mapping changes. Eventually, the AI function builds the organizations digital footprint that becomes the essential layer between raw data and business flows around data protection, compliance, and data management.

Holiday events: entertainment options are important

They’ve all been to the office party where Sally drinks too much and ends up sitting on the boss’s lap as his wife watches in horror. And nobody wants to repeat that event. In fact, many professionals will avoid attending office parties due to the opportunity for such embarrassing events to happen.

But the office party doesn’t have to become a horrifying and embarrassing experience for anyone. Here are some fun options that don’t include soaking up the spirits of the season:

1 – Present a dance challenge and cover a band

Hire two bands, schedule them to play in two sets, and have attendees decide which band is the best. You’ll want to do this event early in the season with lots of dance time, food, and tables for conversational discussions between the different teams. And select teams that are designed to talk about dance bands to determine who is the best band. By encouraging your teams to work together on their selection based on various factors, you will increase the team’s efforts and build relationships, while keeping them focused on a specific project.

At the end of the night, the best band has a repeat performance at another party later in the season. Like the Winter Formal and Prom, the former is a practice for the Grand Event.

2 – Motivational speaker or comedian

Stand-up comedy can bring an entirely different spectrum to the holiday event, if your audience wants to be entertained, rather than engaged in entertainment. Nothing is better than a Tony Robinson event to get your team out of center, develop a teamwork spirit, and walk away from a fun event that explodes with energy and desire to move forward into the season with more effort to achieve greater goals. And even the most motivated motivational speaker can deliver solid comic hilarity to a night out.

3 – Impersonators roaming the room

You never wanted to have dinner with Elvis Presley? How about a dance with Taylor Swift? Can you imagine sitting at the same table as Marilyn Monroe? Or how about a chat with Abraham Lincoln about current political challenges? Sometimes the most exotic forms of entertainment can be the least organized and yet the best-planned events.

And no one does gratitude better than Elvis, “Thank you, thank you. Thank you very much.”

Build your team through events where entertainment, connection, and relationships can be fun, successful, and well-structured. Don’t look now, but Elvis is in the room!

Cloud-based PBX: the way forward?

PBX services used to be confined to physical hardware companies stored within their offices. Heck, many PBX phone systems still work this way, operating locally to give their users the warm, fuzzy feeling of controlling their communications technology.

PBX systems were hardly the only communications technology focused on locally stored hardware. Many companies physically hosted their own servers and their own storage within their own facilities, once again taking advantage of a number of benefits that are only available when their technology is only a couple of doors from their employees’ workstations.

But these days all that seems to be changing. At least, if you pay attention to tech marketing, you would believe that everything is changing. From the outside, it appears that locally stored hardware solutions are being replaced by remotely located solutions: servers, storage, and PBX services running hardware in half the world. These remotely located solutions may not offer as much control as the benefits of locally stored solutions, but they do someone else’s infrastructure expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.

Now we are seeing the whole concept of remotely hosted solution taken to the next level: the cloud, a shared virtual space whose computational resources are distributed among all customers and registered users of a provider’s services.

Yet despite all the marketing buzz surrounding the use of the cloud for business purposes, especially for business PBX purposes, companies are migrating to these virtual platforms at a much, much, much slower rate than you might imagine.

There are a couple of good reasons organizations are nervous about jumping on the cloud train.

· Businesses don’t know if cloud services really offer a measurable benefit over their existing facilities-based phone system. The question at hand is whether switching to a new technology will produce a measurable result. In the post-recession business climate, decisions to upgrade communications technology are not made lightly. Unless the new technology is intended to make a change in the way business is conducted or adapt to growth, business owners wisely wait to jump to the cloud until they determine whether shared PBX services are located in a convenient way. remote will actually present a measurable improvement over more traditional solutions.

· Businesses with an active interest in cloud communications must be convinced that jumping to a technology that has not been largely tested is a good idea. It is not necessarily that the technology is unproven. But for those switching from a facility-based phone system, this is a leap of faith that gives a trusted third party a lot of control over communications. Let’s face it, despite all the references, unless you really have first-hand experience using any service, you cannot form an opinion of how trustworthy it is. Migrating all of your organization’s communications technology to a solution whose reliability and effectiveness remains unknown sounds reckless.

· Businesses don’t know who should manage their cloud services.A business considering cloud migration has two management options at their disposal: they can entrust their IT department to manage the cloud-hosted infrastructure, or they can hand this role over to the service provider or a trusted third party. Neither of these solutions may seem particularly attractive, especially when it comes to sensitive information. After all, IT giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple, and others run their own infrastructure and keep your voice and data at your fingertips.

· Businesses are not sure they can trust all the VoIP service providers that suddenly appear in the field due to the relatively low cost of entry. The markets for cloud computing and hosted telephone exchanges are relatively young. However, despite its young age, it is obvious to any observer that cloud computing represents a viable and profitable place, making it difficult to distinguish between cloud VoIP service providers flying at night and gamers. long-term.

Will the cloud dominate the future of business communications? We do not know for sure. At the moment, there seems to be too much hype surrounding the whole topic. But one thing is for sure: cloud-based VoIP is here to stay.
