Doug Jackson, Reid A. Jackson and Barry K. Downey have been indicted by the US government for illegally operating e-gold, http://www.e-gold.com private digital gold currency. Downey of Woodbine, Maryland. Each was charged with conspiring to launder monetary instruments; conspiracy to operate an unauthorized money transfer business; operate an unauthorized money transfer business; and unlicensed money transmission in Washington, DC

The federal, state and local task force operated for two and a half years spearheaded by the US Secret Service in Orlando, along with the IRS, FBI and other state and local law enforcement agencies. Federal prosecutors obtained a court-ordered search warrant and allegedly seized millions of dollars. That resulted in at least 58 account holders being exposed and thought by many to be criminals laundering illegal money through E-Gold trades and transactions.

“Douglas Jackson and his associates operated a sophisticated and pervasive international money remittance business, unsupervised or regulated by any entity in the world, allowing for anonymous transfers of value at the click of a mouse,” Taylor said. “It is not surprising that criminals of all stripes were drawn to E-Gold as a place to move their money with impunity. As the indictment alleges, the defendants in this case knowingly allowed them to do so and benefited from their crimes.”

The indictment accused the digital currency “EGold” of operating as an alternative payment system and was allegedly backed by stored physical gold. It stated that customers only needed to provide an email address to open an account and no other customer information was verified. The indictment accused some customers of using fictitious names such as “Mickey Mouse,” “Donald Duck” and “No Name” and being able to conduct international transactions without any government regulation.

Because of that, it has become a “highly favored payment method” for investment fraudsters, credit card and identity thieves, and Internet sellers of child pornography, authorities said.

A call to the offices of E-Gold and Gold & Silver Reserve, the founder denies the charges. Dr. Douglas Jackson, Chairman and Founder of E-Gold, speaking on behalf of his fellow directors and of both companies, strongly denies the charges, taking particular issue with allegations that either company turned a blind eye to payments for child pornography or for the sale of stolen identity and credit card information.

Dr. Jackson stated: “With regard to child pornography, the government knows very well that their accusations are false, but they highlight these irresponsible and deliberately damaging statements to demonize E-Gold in the public eye. Without question, one of the most charming, intriguing, and captivating of all early American popular poems and songs is The Wildwood Flower. Its haunting story has captivated the fascination and loyalty of countless thousands. An important feature of its fascination and holding power lies in the fact that it is an enigma that has never been solved. Clearly, as the poem unfolds, Wildwood Flower is a waif, but what is the meaning of the other metaphors and symbols embedded in this classic?

As the heartbroken lover sits alone in the wooded valley that was once her testing ground, she winds the strands of her jet-black hair determinedly around her fingers. That image is clear enough, but then the lyrics become vague. Are the lilies flowers of the glen or are they a metaphor for something else? And what are the meanings of roses, myrtle and pale amanita with bright blue eyes? It is evident to the perceptive reader or listener that something more than the literal is intended here. Amanita is a deadly poisonous mushroom known as Death Hood. He doesn’t have bright blue eyes. And what about the rest of the lyrics? Is it simply a lament and a fantasy to try to console himself in her heartbreak and loneliness; Or is it the revelation of a clever plot to get back at this opportunistic crush who got her engaged and then lost interest in her?

I am going to offer some reflections on what this fascinating story tells me, but before doing so I want to present some realities about the times in which this happened and these types of situations. In the lonely woods of early America, opportunities for romance and a future didn’t present themselves as often. Furthermore, at the time this poem was written, a girl who had lost her virtue had very little chance of finding marriage and happiness with a respectable man. Lying to a young woman, telling her he loved her, seducing her, and then walking away from her and leaving her was virtually a death sentence. The hatred and revenge that ultimately arose from these crippling anxieties often resulted in the death of the assailant. There are many such stories that have become legends from the rural settings of early America. There is Frankie and Johnny, the Ohio Banks, Barbara Allen and many others where abandoned love and betrayal resulted in the death of the perpetrator. Having said that, I wish to give you my version of the meaning of this elusive tale.

It is obvious that I do not have special perceptions and what I am going to say is nothing more than my own opinion. It is not offered to contradict anyone else’s conclusions, to intrude on the sanctuary that may have been built in someone’s mind about this disturbing story, or to offend anyone in any way. It’s just my offer of what’s going on here.

A girl is sitting, probably all together, in a wooded glen where she used to meet her lover, where she succumbed to her lies of love and marriage, and where she lost her virtue. The last line of verse 3 reveals that she is a frail girl and not of great physical beauty, but she does have some charms. She has raven-black hair, which she absentmindedly but aggressively twists between her fingers. The Song of Songs and other historical literature provide the basis for inferring that the lilies are her breasts. The roses are her glowing red cheeks, now not glowing with love and emotion as in verse 2, but now burning with anger and grief. The myrtle is the dark green lashes over her eyes and the pale amanita is the ghostly white face, colorless from anger and hatred (the hood of death), from which the bright blue eyes shine as if to make appear before her now in the glen. the scene that she is imagining in her mind.

As the girl sits in the wild forest and contemplates her drastic plan, she begins to rationalize. It’s her fault; not hers. He told her that he loved her and she believed him or she would never have given herself to him. She spoke of love and lifelong commitment and was very compelling. She cruelly took her life and her future to satisfy her lust and greed. He shattered her dreams and high hopes of husband, home, and family, and then walked away from her without so much as a “goodbye.”

He called me his flower

that bloomed for him

All the brightest every hour;

But I woke up from my dream,

My idol was mud;

my visions of love

They have all vanished.

An intimate conjugal relationship is clearly indicated here. No girl needs to be “taught” how to have loving and caring feelings. The sweet intimacy that should have belonged only to his soul mate was given to this deceiver. He told her the things she wanted to hear. “She was what he had always wanted and what she lived for. She was the glorious wildflower of hers that bloomed brighter and brighter every hour.”

But then the dream faded in the harsh light of reality. It was all a lie. His wonderful idol was nothing more than a heap of dirt. He was gone, and with him her hopes for a happy future. If not otherwise, all of him has unfolded before her in the meadow this day as she sits as she was when she last saw him, twisting her jet-black hair tightly around her long white fingers and searching consolation in feelings of revenge.

How many of us take toilet paper and paper towels for granted? I mean, aside from which one is the softest or the most absorbent, have you ever thought about how they make them or how safe they are for you? I know I I never really thought about the dangers that can lurk in my toilet paper roll, but after speaking with my trusted doctor, Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy, I did a quick Google search… YIKES! I threw out most of my paper towels, toilet paper, and napkins. Why do you ask? Chlorine and bleach!

Like me, you’ve probably never given much thought to what goes into making all those paper products so white. They may look clean and fresh, but products made with chlorine and bleach are full of toxins. After reading this blog, you will definitely have some information to think about.

Like most people my age, I grew up with the smell of bleach lingering on my father’s white work shirts and even on our white sheets. You can even clean your bathroom and kitchen with bleach to sanitize them from all the harmful germs that roam those rooms. If your children swim, they are also in chlorine. So what is the problem you ask? Plenty.

One thing we have to get over, as we live healthier lives and become more health conscious, is that just because it’s available doesn’t make it right. Take chlorine as an example, one of its greatest uses is in the paper industry. It is used to break down wood fibers and whiten paper. This sets off a chain reaction because it not only pollutes our streams and waterways, it also pollutes fish and the people who eat them.

In paper products, chlorine causes the formation of dioxin, an extremely toxic chemical known to cause cancer and disrupt the endocrine system. As a byproduct of chlorine-bleached paper manufacturing, it is believed to be the most carcinogenic chemical known to science. It’s just not on paper either, but all around us. Due to chlorine pollution, an average American ingests 300 to 600 times more dioxin than the Environmental Protection Agency considers safe! It has been found to be over 300,000 times more potent than DDT, one of the best known toxic synthetic pesticides! Chlorine has been linked to endometriosis, immune system impairment, diabetes, neurotoxicity, birth defects, decreased fertility, and reproductive dysfunction in both men and women. Chlorine is found in coffee filters, paper milk cartons, and even disposable diapers – our poor babies! THESE TOXINS ARE EASILY ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN! That’s right, and did you know that chlorine is found in the blood of almost everyone? Although our bodies can metabolize and get rid of many contaminants, the dioxins found in chlorine are not as easily eliminated. So the use of chlorine and products with chlorine can end up compromising your health.

Which brings me to a HUGE downside to using chlorine and bleach toilet paper. Our private parts are sensitive in many ways. Many women experience vaginal discomfort thinking it’s a yeast infection and use over-the-counter antifungal medications (don’t even tell me why I think we shouldn’t use them, that’s for another day, another blog). These topical lotions may provide women with initial relief, but not long-term relief. Why? Since it’s not a yeast infection, the creams are most likely just providing a barrier between your skin and the toxic bleached toilet paper (which probably also contains formaldehyde, another highly toxic substance). Once the cream is removed after a few wipes, it’s back to square one: the irritation caused by toilet paper containing chlorine/bleach. You’re not solving the problem, just masking it. So if you use thick, absorbent, strong, bleached, expensive toilet paper brands (or any bleached toilet paper), you may think you’re protecting and pampering your private parts, but in reality, with each cleaning, you’re increasing your risk of infections and absorption of toxins. I hear myself telling my kids when they were little, “Make sure you clean yourself up.” (Ha ha) What was I thinking? You’re just cleaning yourself toxic chemicals! And if you think wiping with baby wipes will be better, think again. Unless they are chlorine, bleach, and fragrance free, you will have the same problems!

Can you believe that over 100,000 chemicals are used in commercial paper products? Do you know that many have been tested for possible health risks? Not many. We also have so many colors and fragrances to choose from which just adds another layer of problems/toxins. Also keep in mind that most tampons also contain chlorine, and some even have fragrances added. All the bad things!

While researching this, I came across a video of a woman making her own reusable toilet paper out of cloth. This sounded interesting (crazy actually) until she talked about cleaning them. I guess this goes with the cloth diaper versus disposable diaper debate. What is she using to clean her cloth wipes? Bleach? She mentioned hot water, but I wonder how well it will clean reusable cloths? Hmm, maybe we all need to use a bidet, a toilet accessory originating in France that cleanses your private parts with water! Those Frenchies can eat chocolate and not get fat and rinse instead of clean! We got caught up in that too!

Since that may not be realistic and not all of us can go out and buy a bidet, so what is our plan now?

When you don’t allow yourself to express yourself with laughter and tears, the result can be physical pain, due to stress and lack of passion for life.

Ron grew up in a home where laughter and tears were never expressed. Anger was the main feeling expressed by his mother, while his father was mostly withdrawn. By the time Ron was eight years old, he had managed to suppress both laughter and tears to avoid feeling rejected by his parents and controlled by his mother. Closing off was his way of protecting himself against the invasion of his controlling mother. He became a serious child, a controlled and controlling child.

Ron grew up, went to college, became a successful lawyer, got married and had three children. However, nothing, not even deep love for his children, managed to break his rigid and controlling way of being.

Ron sought my help because he was not only very unhappy, but often in physical pain. All he could say about the physical pain was that it hurt him. “My body hurts. My chest hurts, my stomach hurts, and my back hurts.” A doctor examined him thoroughly and found that nothing was physically wrong. The doctor told him that he was stressful.

Ron told me that he spent much of his free time daydreaming because when he was present with himself in the moment, all he felt was pain. He had learned to daydream to avoid the pain.

However, Ron was now 48 years old and the daydream was no longer working properly. The pain was creeping in, especially in the form of debilitating back pain, so Ron decided he needed help.

The problem behind Ron’s pain was that his main intention in life was to control. He wanted to control how others felt about him, how well his employees worked, how his wife treated him, and how well his children did in school. He also wanted to control not feeling the pain of rejection and the fear of being swallowed up that he had felt so much in his family. In particular, he wanted control over not feeling the pain of his own abandonment.

Ron’s control had worked for him up to a point. He was financially successful. He had all the material things a person could want: a beautiful house, a vacation home, a boat, and all the electronic devices a person could use. He had a wonderful family and was in good health, apart from his pain. However, he often felt miserable and had no passion for life.

The problem Ron faced was that being in control was much more important to him than being a loving person with himself and with others. As a result, Ron felt empty inside and constantly looked to others to fill him up. He had no interest in taking responsibility for his own feelings, his own pain and joy. He wanted others or things to fill him up and make him happy.

Imagine how a child would feel if you put them in a box and told them that they could never laugh or cry. This is what was happening with Ron. His inner child, his own feeling, was in a box, he was not allowed to laugh or cry. Laughter and tears are our natural ways of expressing and releasing feelings. Without the God-given gifts of laughter and tears, our feelings become blocked inside, ultimately causing our muscles to go into painful spasms. This is what was causing Ron’s pain. He could no longer control his feelings without feeling physical pain.

It was a tough battle for Ron. In those moments when he let go of control and opened his heart to love, the pain was gone. But his terror of being rejected or controlled was usually more powerful than his desire to love himself and others, and he closed off from his fears. He feared that if he opened up to his feelings, he would be weak and seen as such, which he feared would lead to rejection, absorption, and being taken advantage of.

Ron wanted something he couldn’t have: the illusion of security that being so controlling gave him, without suffering the physical pain of being so controlling.

After practicing the inner work, Ron finally saw that loving himself by allowing himself to experience his laughter and tears did not cause him to feel weak, nor did it bring him the rejection and sinking he had feared. In fact, by becoming more aware of his feelings and allowing himself to express them, Ron learned that he actually felt safer, more powerful, and much more alive and passionate about his life than when he was trying to control everything.

Laughter and tears are great gifts that allow us to express and release our feelings in a healthy way.

If the professors in our colleges and universities are 90-95% Democrat and continue to espouse socialist and leftist political views, then they are politically biased and work for the Democratic Party. Thus, they are similar to a Super PAC and therefore should not receive any public funding, nor should the taxpayer bail out delinquent student loans: 47% are currently more than 90 days past due, are delinquent, and in the financial sector should be sent to collection and students should be taken to court. These loans should not be rescued by you and me, the citizens and the taxpayers.

Why should we pay for these teachers?
