Mourning an abuser who is still alive

Narcissistic Abuse Awareness and Guidance with Randi Fine

There are things we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn, and people we can’t live without but have to let go. ~Author unknown

It would seem that letting go of a relationship with someone who used, abused, and objectified you, be it a parent, friend, sibling, partner, or spouse, would be a huge relief—a monumental weight lifted off your shoulders. From a logical point of view, being free from years of control and oppression should feel good, and it may feel good for a short period of time.

Whether your abuser leaves you or you leave your abuser, whether you choose moderate contact or no contact, there will come a time when the relief you initially felt will wear off and be replaced by a variety of disturbing emotions.

Ending a relationship with someone you were emotionally involved with is always painful. But realizing that the relationship you thought never existed and that you meant nothing to the person you trusted and loved is completely devastating.

As you come to terms with what happened to you, you may experience periods of unexplained loneliness, emotional faltering, and deep depression that last days, weeks, or months. He may experience spikes of sadness, denial, and anger, in no particular order. This is all part of the grieving process.

Even though your abuser is still alive, the idealized relationship you hoped for is not. Your belief that the person will change is gone, leaving a big void that hope used to fill.

The grieving process is painful, but it is an integral part of your healing. It is important that you allow yourself to experience all the feelings that come up: cry when you need to cry, allow the anger you feel to surface. Anger is a necessary part of the healing process. It is the vessel through which your wounded self regains its voice.

Be kind and accept your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even if they seem illogical. Take care of your physical needs: eat healthy, drink plenty of water, exercise, rest when you are tired, get enough sleep. Surround yourself with love and support.

It may seem like the suffering will never end, but it will. Do not set a time limit on your complaint. It is different for each of us.

There are five stages to the grieving process, as described by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross in her groundbreaking 1969 book, About death and dying. Since the Kübler-Ross stages of grief apply to death and dying, not recovery from abuse, I have modified the explanations. The stages are still perfectly relevant.

You can experience the first four stages of grief in any order, and you can go through each of them more than once. Acceptance always comes last.

  1. Denial:

    1. You find excuses and reasons to cling to the relationship.

    1. You want to believe, against all logic or rationality, that things can change.

    1. You don’t want to believe that the relationship is actually over.

    1. You refuse to accept the reality of what happened to you.

    1. The bad things that happened don’t seem so bad and the good things seem much better than they really were.

    1. You isolate yourself from others.

  2. Angel:

    1. You are angry with yourself for putting up with the abuse.

    1. He is angry at his abuser for ruining his life.

    1. You are angry at other people for letting you down.

    1. You are angry at God or the Universe for punishing you.

    1. You hate your abuser for everything he has done to you and fantasize about ways to get back at him.

    1. You hate yourself for being so angry and you blame your abuser for making you feel that way.

  3. Negotiation:

    1. You feel desperate to lose the relationship.

    1. You suffer from loss anxiety.

    1. Are you willing to change your ways or give your abuser another chance to change theirs.

    1. You are willing to forgive and forget what happened and start over.

    1. You are willing to renegotiate the limits you set.

    1. You ask him to agree to the advice or offer to go yourself.

  4. Depression:

    1. Feelings of deep sadness invade you.

    1. You feel hopeless and powerless.

    1. You can’t get out of it.

    1. You cry often and are heartbroken.

    1. You are unmotivated and lethargic.

    1. Has altered eating patterns.

    1. You have disturbed sleep patterns.

    1. You self-medicate with drugs or alcohol.

    1. You withdraw into yourself.

  5. Acceptance: Always the final stage

    1. You come to terms with the loss.

    1. You feel at peace.

    1. You are able to let go of the relationship.

    1. You accept the limitations of your abuser.

    1. You accept the choices you have made.

    1. You let go of your feelings.

    1. You are ready to move on.

The Yugoslav writer Selimovi table? summed up grieving the loss of a relationship beautifully in this quote:

“Everyone says that love hurts, but that’s not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts. Everyone confuses these things with love, but in reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers all the pain and makes someone feel wonderful again. Love is the only thing in this world that doesn’t hurt.”

The chic and smart girl’s shopping guide

Christmas shopping is gaining more and more popularity around the world. Usually, those who go to a foreign country just for shopping prefer places like Turkey, Singapore, Philippines, Hong-Kong instead of renowned commercial cities like Paris, London, Milan or New York. Why is that? Well, mainly because of how cheap you can find anything out there and also because it gives them a new experience, people always like to discover something new.

If you go shopping in Turkey you should visit all the bazaars you can find. In the bazaars you can find thousands and thousands of street vendors selling everything from hookahs: twisted: to 24K gold jewelry. Here, if you don’t haggle, it may be considered a shame by the seller (hey!), besides, by haggling you can easily get 30% discount.

In Istanbul you can find the big bazaar in Kapali Carsi (which is beyond huge) or along the main avenue in Taksim. In Ankara, the bazaars can be found mainly in the city center in the Kizilay area. As for a paradise like Kusadasi, bazaars are almost everywhere.

Grand Bazaar Turkey

The other part of the Turkish shopping experience is its malls. Even though you can’t haggle, their malls can be very different from the ones you’re familiar with in the US or the rest of Europe. In Istanbul, you can find high-end shopping malls and stores on Nisantasi and Bagdat Avenue such as Akmerez, Capitol, Kanyon, Kule Carsi or Istinye Park. In Ankara we also have some big shopping centers like Migros, Ankaramall or Armada. As for Kusadasi, there is Scopa Nova Marina, a large shopping center.

Thailand is a more extravagant destination than Turkey. Thailand is mainly famous for its shopping markets, which are found all over Bangkok, where you can find designer clothes or handmade crafts at very low prices. For example, the Chatuchak weekend market, which has more than 1000 shops, or the OTOR commercial market, full of handmade souvenirs. Another great place is the night market called Suam Luun Night Bazaar.

Malls in Thailand are nothing special so I will only mention the best ones: Central World Bangkok and MBK.

The Philippines has the third largest mall in the world, SM Mall of Asia, so you can imagine why it is a popular shopping destination. The number of malls in the Philippines, especially in Manila, is simply amazing. Shopping centers like 168 Mall, Greenbelt, Divisoria or Tutuban can be found in all parts of the world. The biggest deals can be found in the stores located in these malls, stores like Surplus or Greenhills. At Surplus you can find very cheap famous brands like Greenhills, rull imitations (but there are some very good imitations).

Hong Kong is the place to go shopping. Especially for its modern and original clothes and because it is TAX FREE! Hong Kong is famous for its Shopping Festival which takes place every year in the summer. The best place to find some bargains is the Mangkok district with many street vendors. As for markets and high-end stores, we have Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway Bay, full of designer clothes at reasonable prices. For teenagers I recommend the APM shopping center, they will love it!

Does taking Garcinia Cambogia and apple cider vinegar work for weight loss?

A few days ago I was reading a popular health and fitness blog and the writer recommended me to use Garcinia Cambogia and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss.

At first I thought it was just a bit of hype to generate some engagement on your blog. However, after conducting my own research, I discovered that there is some truth to this weight loss duo recipe that I want to share with you today.

Before I get into the details, please note that using Garcinia Cambogia along with Apple Cider Vinegar together is more of an aid to help you achieve your weight loss goal rather than a complete solution. I mention this because I don’t want you to get the wrong impression. Is not a’magic potion‘ which will automatically help you lose weight if you do nothing else. So please keep that in the back of your head.

Diet and exercise will always be the best way to lose weight and tone your body. However, some of us find that we can use a little boost when things aren’t going as fast as we’d like. So a little help can go a long way.

So what exactly is Garcinia Cambogia Recipe and Weight Loss?

Garcinia Cambogia has been around for quite some time. In fact, it is one of the most popular dietary supplements on the market. There are numerous studies that confirm the effectiveness of its use as an appetite suppressant.

The main ingredient in Garcinia Cambogia is hydroxycitric acid, which blocks the production of fat from carbohydrates, increases serotonin levels, and speeds up metabolism.

Organic apple cider vinegar, on the other hand, is simply vinegar that hasn’t gone through any sort of processing. Most health blogs recommend Braggs Organic Apple Cider (ACV) as the best option.

This type of vinegar has many health benefits, but I will only focus on the benefits related to weight loss.

1. ACV Helps Boost Protein Digestion – This is important because protein is the building block of lean muscle.

The more muscle mass you have, the faster your metabolism will be because you’ll be burning more calories at rest to maintain your muscles.

2. Like Garcinia, Apple Cider Vinegar Also Suppresses Appetite – As you probably know, the main cause of weight gain is overeating.

Most of us find it very difficult to control our cravings, especially for sugary foods. However, when your appetite is suppressed, you will feel less hungry and therefore eat less. That’s one step closer to eliminating unwanted fat.

3. Organic ACV helps detoxify your body – It is very important to do a detox from time to time to help your body function efficiently.

You see, over time there is a lot of garbage and toxins that stick to the lining of our intestines. This in turn prevents our body from getting the proper nutrients from the food we eat due to malabsorption. ACV helps get rid of these accumulated toxins and expel them through the stool.

How to use Garcinia Cambogia and apple cider vinegar together?

First of all, it is very important that you do proper research to find the best brand of Garcinia supplements. Due to its popularity, there are many fake brands out there, some of which offer free trials just to bill your credit cards later without your knowledge. Please stay away from these.

Second, you need to make sure that you only use organic apple cider vinegar that has not gone through any sort of processing. Right now, Braggs ACV is one of the most common brands you can buy on Amazon.com, a trusted online marketplace.

Third, be sure to follow the dosage requirements on the Garcinia label and drink plenty of water. The MAXIMUM recommended daily dose is 3000 mg, so make sure you stay within this limit.

Conclution

Garcinia and ACV work to help suppress appetite and increase metabolism. This is the key to burning more calories than you consume on a daily basis. When this happens, your body has to turn to stored fat for energy and doing this over time will result in natural weight loss.

Pregnancy plus obesity equals danger

It has always been known that obesity is detrimental to health. A small excess in the normal weight can already cause diseases such as diabetes, arthritis and cardiovascular diseases. This is all the more true if the obese person is actually pregnant.

It puts both mother and child at risk of complications. Therefore, before it is too late, you may want to take some precautionary measures to avoid such a threat to your health and her life.

A person is considered obese if their weight is 30% higher than the ideal body weight. This is measured with a scale called the Body Mass Index that compares your height and body weight to a number from 18 to 40. The ideal range is 18.5 to 25. You may already be a little overweight for your height if it falls below 25 to Rank 29.9. Also, if you fall past 30, you are positive for obesity. Several factors can cause this state, such as idleness, lack of activity, poor diet and bad eating habits.

Over the years, the number of obese people has increased significantly. This is true for both men and women. However, there has been greater concern for women of childbearing age due to its adverse effects on reproductive health. It puts both mother and baby at risk and negatively affects fertility. This is so because the greater the amount of fat stored, the greater its inhibitory effect on the level of sex hormones produced by the body.

The probability, then, of becoming pregnant decreases. If and when you become pregnant while obese, many possible complications can arise. One of them is preeclampsia which causes high blood pressure, fluid retention and, in effect, swelling. This condition can decrease blood flow to the placenta, posing a serious danger to the baby. Another is gestational diabetes, which is a specific type of diabetes that develops during pregnancy. This prevents the body from breaking down the sugar. Indeed, the baby in the womb can gain so much weight that it puts it in clear danger. The health of the baby inside the womb may not be properly monitored and detected because ultrasounds of obese mothers are usually not very accurate as layers of fat get in the way. Also, the baby’s labor can be unusually long, eventually requiring a C-section.

After childbirth, obese women are also more prone to developing infections, making recovery much slower and more difficult. In addition, babies born to obese mothers are also more likely to develop obesity by age four. Being aware of these dangers should significantly encourage you to do something. If you plan to get pregnant, you should be vigilant about losing weight and be more observant of your health. You may want to reevaluate your diet, eating habits, and physical activities. If you are already extremely obese, you may want to consider surgery.

Remember, however, that you should not try to lose weight when you are already pregnant, as this can deprive your baby of necessary calories and nutrients. Instead, you can control her weight gain, make it more gradual, and push it back a bit until the third trimester. Exercise is something you can do continuously during pregnancy, but make sure you’ve checked with your doctor about the activities involved. However, a simple regular walk around the block won’t hurt.

It is also important for women to stay informed about obesity. Not everyone is armed with the right information, leaving them at a loss when they experience the problem, and even worse, when it’s too late. It remains true that prevention is better than cure. Right now, there are several communities you can join that address these types of issues and issues. Personally, you should also be more attentive to your health. It is true that life today is hectic, but health should always be among your priorities. Remember that no one else is responsible for your well-being except you, so take good care of yourself.

How to have limits in the pandemic

Maintaining boundaries is a challenge for most of us. But the pandemic has made it even more difficult. People have been quarantining with a partner, housemate, or family for nearly a year. Normally, we could at least create a physical space by going to work, the gym, seeing friends, or even going on excursions.

All of that has changed. People who have been lonely and alone realize how much they need others. Some couples are closer, while others are headed for divorce. Drug and alcohol abuse has increased, as have mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.

A recent study from the UK reveals some interesting statistics:

  • The relationship of 36% of newly cohabiting couples has accelerated.
  • Almost 60% of new couples feel more committed, but 17% are not happy.
  • Stress includes kids, finances, and disputes over pandemic rules.
  • Loneliness affects 40% of people, but 29% have found they are happier alone.
  • Of all couples, 42% value more quality time together since lockdown, but 14% want to separate.
  • 61% of women living with abusers report that the abuse has gotten worse.
  • We all have needs for independence and closeness. But when we are around our partner and family all the time, tensions rise. It is no wonder that domestic violence is on the rise around the world.

Too much togetherness can make intimacy and sex feel undesirable. On the other hand, many of us are home alone and miss the closeness with family and friends that Zoom doesn’t deliver. For some people in the pandemic, instead of tangled, tangled boundaries, the quarantine has created artificially rigid boundaries because we are alone more than we want to be. It is easier to find balance when we are not alone or with our family or partner 24/7.

However, the limits include more than the physical space. We can be thousands of miles from someone and still be obsessed with them, or we can be sleeping next to our spouse and feel a million miles away. Therefore, limits are also emotional. These invisible boundaries are more difficult to recognize and maintain.

    tangled relationships

You may be wondering if your relationship is codependent or interdependent. No borders, it comes first; the relationship is “entangled”. We don’t know where we end and the other person begins. We are reactive. We project our feelings onto them or feel responsible for their feelings, needs, and sometimes even their actions. We blame and become critical, irritable, and defensive.

    Boundaries and Relationships

Emotional boundaries are vital. Relationships don’t work without them. They blur when you don’t have a strong sense of self and then start to react and feel responsible for other people’s needs and feelings. You risk missing out. Couples then become very reactive and have endless big fights.

With healthy boundaries, you feel separate. This allows two whole beings to really be closer. Other people’s feelings and words do not confuse you or lower your self-esteem.

Boundaries tell someone how you want to be treated. They communicate the behavior you expect. Relationships suffer when your rights, needs and space are not respected. You build feelings that lead to walls instead of soft boundaries. So, you lose the closeness that you also want.

Physical boundaries can be helpful, like bouncing back from a disagreement and centering yourself. But all the space in the world won’t stop you from obsessing over another person or reacting to a text.

Boundaries can become blurred when we function in multiple roles, such as being in business with our partner or friend. Working at home can create a boundary problem. For example, if we can’t focus on our work due to distractions, or if our work “personality” spills over into our relationships. Instead, we might use work to create artificial boundaries in our partner’s space. This can lead to a breakdown in communication.

Boundaries also build trust, because the other person knows they can’t take advantage of you and that you’re being genuine. Some people react to your limits with anger or hurt. That indicates that relationship and communication problems need attention. Couples therapy can help.

    Set limits

Setting limits is hard. Codependents often feel caught between feeling resentment when they don’t set limits and when they do. Learning to configure them is a process. First, you must be able to identify your needs and feelings. So you must value them and believe that you have rights. Then, build up the courage to express them. Take time to learn to be assertive.

When we don’t take care of ourselves, we have nothing to give to family members. We burn! Creating boundaries in the pandemic requires some imagination. Try meditating, get outside, have a hobby to make time and space to focus mentally and emotionally in a way that is nurturing and rejuvenating.

Sometimes, especially with children and bullies, there must be a consequence to enforce a limit. That requires more courage and the right words to say it respectfully and not punitively.

When limits don’t work, there are reasons. For one thing, you need to keep them consistent. Like training a child or a dog. When you allow your rules to be violated, you are communicating that you have changed your mind or that the limit was not important in the first place. When setting boundaries with someone who has a personality disorder, such as borderline or narcissistic personality disorder, the guidelines for dealing with abuse are somewhat different. Get professional help.

Detoxification, waste elimination and weight loss: are they connected?

Proper removal of toxic waste from the body is one of the key elements in achieving successful and permanent weight loss. However, many people start a diet or weight loss program and neglect this very important aspect of weight loss and control.

Detoxification and elimination of waste from the body is not exactly the most pleasant topic to deal with, but it is essential for losing weight and maintaining overall health. If you are starting a weight loss program and want to make detoxification a part of that program, you need to remember that the buildup of toxic waste in your body may have taken 10, 20, 30, or even 50 years to build up. So don’t expect overnight results from the detox program.

Removing toxic waste from the body can be uncomfortable, but it’s better to have a minor ailment now than a major illness later in life. Total elimination of all toxicity from the body can take weeks to months, and in some cases even years. But in a matter of days you will lose weight and feel vastly more energetic and vibrant.

Most people who start a detox program never complete it. They may feel some discomfort and discomfort and quit the program before it has a chance to work.

For a simple, natural and straightforward detox program that you can start today is as follows. You can start the program by increasing the amount of water you drink each day, to at least 12-14 glasses of water per day.

Every food high in water in its natural state as close to nature as possible, ie lots of fruits and vegetables. Each of a large amount of fruits and natural fresh fruit juices every morning between 7 am and 12 pm, without any other food. This will give the body time to cleanse itself while it absorbs vital nutrients and releases energy to go through the detoxification process.

Get rid of all meat foods in your diet, along with all dairy products and any animal by-products during your detoxification process. Meat and dairy products create the most toxins in the body and therefore need to be eliminated from your diet.

Refined foods should not be eaten at this time, ie refined sugar, refined flour, and other processed foods. Caffeine and caffeinated beverages should definitely not be consumed during your detox.

Try to eat 85% of your food raw unnatural, stay away from processed foods that are canned, boxed or bagged foods. To help your digestive tract get rid of waste, don’t combine protein-rich foods with carbohydrate- or sugar-rich foods.

If your ball or moves haven’t increased to at least three by that time, you may need to do a colon cleanse.

There are many Colin cleansers on the market, but care must be taken to ensure that any colon cleanser you are going to use is 100% natural, with no additives, preservatives or dyes.

Most people who eat a lot of meat will be surprised at the amount of weight they will lose during the detoxification process and a proper colon cleanse. This is because the colon can hold up to 150 pounds of encrusted fecal matter that has been building up for several years.

So the goal here is to give your digestive system a clean slate to process, digest, absorb, and eliminate food from the digestive system. This will give you a head start on your weight loss program.

Sexual harassment: a symptom of the power game

Since women entered the workforce in large numbers, the issue of sexual harassment has taken on a momentum of its own. Although women may be highly educated, have the required qualifications, and work side by side with men, almost 60% are subjected to unwanted sexually determined behavior by the opposite sex. Even female doctors are not exempt, and many are harassed by male superior doctors, consultants, interns, and patients. In educational institutions, about 55% of students complain of bullying by teachers or fellow students. One cannot walk the streets or ride public transport without being harassed by thugs or pranksters. Sexual harassment cuts across all socioeconomic barriers.

Gender discrimination and role stereotypes are the reason for such behavior. Some men feel that women leaving their homes to work violate the biological roles of wife, mother, and homemaker.

Women have also come up with extreme ideas of playing “superwomen.” Some aspects of feminism make men clearly uncomfortable and paranoid. They try to get revenge through sexual harassment. After all, they too are victims of stereotypes. Most men think that “nice women” are not sexually harassed. But “bad women” cause trouble by their behavior and clothing.

In the context of this rapidly changing socioeconomic scenario, more women are likely to seek employment outside their homes. Therefore, it is time for society to remember that women are human beings too and should be allowed the dignity of their rights.

    What is sexual harassment?

Every woman has the right to her own private space. When that space is violated by verbal, non-verbal, or physical forms of sexually suggestive behavior, it amounts to harassment. This covers a range of behaviors ranging from unwanted comments about a person’s body to sexual abuse and assault. The stalker may be overtly sexist in her comments or present an appearance of respectability, but make clever passes or propositions when the victim is alone.

    Types of bullying.

o Predators get a kick out of humiliating women, whether it’s through advances, prank calls, teasing Eva, or phone sex. They make sexually colored comments or unwanted physical contact by pinching, fondling, kissing, or groping.

o The most common type is quid pro quo harassment in which sexual favors are expected in exchange for jobs, promotions, grades, or recommendations. This is a gross abuse of power by employers, teachers, politicians, or film directors with ‘casting couch’ requirements.

o Some men establish a mentor-like relationship with the victim by pretending to offer professional or academic advice. But soon his sexual intentions surface.

o Serial stalkers are masters at the game. They hit in private so there are no witnesses. It’s just the victim’s word against yours.

o Some use bullying as an ego boost. Victims are subjected to pornographic films, nude photos, and suggestive language.

o Bullying can be used as a revenge tactic if a person feels rejected or slighted. These bullies make physical or verbal advances, use foul language, make crude jokes, and create an unpleasant environment.

o There are stalkers who watch, follow, blink or bombard the victim with letters or emails.

o Many operate in groups, harassing women on buses, trains or on highways by pulling at their clothes, or touching their breasts or buttocks.

    Effects of sexual harassment.

Psychologists believe that chronic sexual harassment has the same effect as rape or sexual assault. The message bullies send is that “you’re not a person. You don’t matter. Therefore, I’m free to bully you.”

    – Many victims begin to show poor performance at work or in studies

    – Some move to another city, work or university.

    – The victim feels humiliated and frustrated for not having control of the situation.

    – Depression, anxiety, headache or fatigue may follow. Some may go crazy or attempt suicide.

How to deal with sexual harassment.

This is a punishable offense and each country has its own laws. Every woman should be aware of her rights under the law. Sexual harassment must be recognized and not ignored. The victim must resist and show distance from her in the face of such conduct. She can have an open conversation with her stalker and tell her to say goodbye to her.

This can have unpleasant repercussions, especially if he is the boss. He may begin to find fault with his work, send him memos or withhold recommendations, and make his life miserable.

The victim should not fall into doubt and lose confidence in herself. By not challenging the sexual harassment, she may undermine her position. She must continue to go to work or college. But she must also document bullying incidents, date, time, place, and people involved and witnesses. She must submit a written complaint with specific details to whomever she is under supervision.

It’s good to talk to women who have been harassed in a similar way and form a support group for each other. There are many women’s groups and NGOs that will take up the victim’s cause if management does not come to their aid.

If the harassment of a serious nature takes place in a public place, the matter should be brought to the attention of the police.

    Employer’s liability.

    – Employers, both in the public and private sectors, must take steps to prevent sexual harassment.

    – There must be a defined policy in this regard, which must be published and distributed to all employees.

    – A procedure must be established for the presentation of complaints. This must have a time limit, and the victim must be assured of confidentiality and protection.

    – A Complaints Committee headed by a woman must review the complaint. The committee should be made up of 50% female members when possible.

    – Disciplinary action should be taken against the harasser. If his behavior falls under criminal law, he should be reported to the police.

Any woman who complains about sexual harassment should prepare for a backlash. She risks hostility, isolation, denigration of character, or even physical harm.

It must be the objective and responsibility of society to eliminate sexual harassment at all levels and in all situations, to preserve the dignity of women.

7 Easy Steps to Get Rid of Yeast Candidiasis

Officially known as “thrush” in both men and women, yeast infection or candidiasis presents such a common problem in my daily practice that I decided to write this easy-to-follow guide to explain the key aspects of the yeast infection problem and outline the major treatment approaches in 7 easy steps. .

Generally speaking, candidiasis is caused by the overgrowth of a parasitic fungal microorganism known as Candida, which is present in humans from birth and normally does not cause any problems unless an overgrowth of the Candida fungus occurs. There are eight types of candida known to cause infections in humans and Candida albicans is by far the most common. Candida overgrowth causes candidiasis/thrush in its basic form which can affect various mucous membranes in the body from the mouth to the genitals.

The main symptoms of yeast infection include:

    – bloating, belching, gas
    – abdominal discomfort, feeling unwell
    – nausea, constipation, diarrhea.
    – genital itching, pain, redness
    – genital discharge (characteristic discharge similar to cottage cheese)
    – sore mouth, creamy white patches on the tongue, roof of the mouth, back of the throat and inside of the cheeks

7 steps to help get rid of yeast infection:

    1. Be sure to see your doctor if you have recurring yeast infections (a few times a year), particularly in the mouth/genitals. It could possibly indicate other health problems and medical conditions like diabetes that need to be ruled out.

    2. Antifungal Medications – Talk to your pharmacist about which one is best to use. Depending on the symptoms or the affected body part, a different preparation may be recommended. Make sure the medication is used properly and for the length of time specified by the manufacturer to kill the fungus.

    3. Regular exercise is very important to support healthy immune function. It is important to exercise at least 30 minutes per day. Exercise doesn’t have to be stubborn. Walking is the best form of exercise available and can be easily implemented into even the busiest of lifestyles.

    4. Diet. There is a lot of information on diet in managing yeast infection. But I would like to emphasize avoiding fatty and fried foods and including more vegetables and grains. Fruit consumption should also be limited to 2 servings a day while being treated for yeast infection due to the high sugar content.

    5. I would like to highlight GARLIC as a separate treatment option due to its tremendous ability to kill all kinds of fungal infections. For best results, I always recommend swallowing 2-3 small garlic cloves in the morning on an empty stomach with a glass of water and not eating or drinking anything for at least 1/2 hour after that. Cloves should be swallowed whole without chewing to avoid the smell :))

    6. Supplements. Zinc supplementation has been found to improve the body’s resistance to yeast infection. For oral thrush I usually recommend dissolving a zinc lozenge in the mouth may be more beneficial than swallowing a tablet or capsule.

    – Probiotic supplements containing acidophilus and bifidus cultures help restore normal, healthy flora in the gut that forms a barrier against harmful bacteria. A probiotic supplement can help prevent infections or reduce the severity of yeast infections.
    – In cases of low immune function, an oversupply of harmful molecules (free radicals) may occur. Antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, E, zinc, grape seed extract, coenzyme Q10, and selenium help reduce the amount of free radicals in the body.
    – Echinacea and goldenseal are herbs that help boost the immune system and prevent infections. Gargles and mouthwashes effective against oral thrush can be made from a combination of these herbs and propolis liquid. Propolis, a natural product of bees, has antimicrobial properties that can help kill the candida organism.
    – Astragalus is an herb with a long history of traditional use in Chinese herbal medicine. Clinical trials have shown that Astragalus has immune system enhancing properties. This herb can be especially beneficial in cases of chronic and recurring oral thrush.

    7. Regular stress management/relaxation. It is very important to allow your body rest to maintain good immune function. A good night’s sleep, relaxation exercises (yoga or tai chi) will allow your natural defenses to keep yeast infections at bay.

Treatment for dry, flaky scalp and split ends

There are various reasons behind a dry and flaky scalp. The main causes of dry and flaky scalp are bad hair products. You can get rid of this by using TLC and other quality products. Small white flakes due to dry scalp can appear on the head, hairline, ear, or back of the neck that look very unsightly.

Dandruff also occurs due to dry, flaky scalp and sometimes results in a type of eczema called seborrheic eczema that irritates the skin. Scalp psoriasis is also the cause of flaking.

    How to treat scalp flaking?

You can get rid of a flaky scalp with good hair care. Here are some of the best tips to reduce a flaky scalp.

    1. The first thing is to choose the right shampoo for your hair type and wash it correctly. Regular use of shampoo can help reduce scalp flakes.
    2. Avoid excessive use of hair dryer and curling iron as it makes the scalp dry and causes scalp flakes. So dry your wet hair naturally.
    3. Massage your scalp regularly for better blood circulation as it helps to loosen dead cells and reduce them easily.
    4. Give yourself an oil treatment at least once a week. Olive oil is the best for treating the scalp. Rub the oil into your scalp and cover your head with a towel for 30 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water and shampoo. This makes your scalp clean and away from flakes.
    5. Do not expose your head to sunlight and cover your head when you go out.
    6. If home treatment doesn’t work for you, see a dermatologist immediately for medical treatment for dry, flaky scalp.

However, the best solution to get rid of scalp flakes is to moisturize your hair and scalp regularly. You also need to protect your scalp from sun rays and dust to reduce flaky scalp.

    Get rid of split ends

Split ends often appear on dry hair. It is one of the common hair problems. Split ends can be avoided with proper care and treatment. Regular trimming is the best way to get rid of split ends.

Hair is made up of 3 different layers: outer layer, middle layer, and inner layer. The outermost layer is called the cuticle which contains dead cells. The cuticle helps protect the middle layer called the cortex, which is made up of long, coiled proteins. A split end occurs when the cuticle is damaged at the end of a strand.

    Prevention of split ends

There are several ways to prevent split ends. Here are some great tips and ideas.

    • Don’t shampoo your hair every day. It makes your hair unhealthy and damaged. Apply conditioner after shampooing as it makes it shiny and smooth.
    • Do not use a hair dryer to dry the hair. Just cover your wet hair with a towel and dry it naturally.
    • Never brush or comb your hair when it is wet. Also use a wide-tooth comb to brush your hair when dry. Do not brush your hair more times. It can damage your hair.
    • Avoid over processing your hair such as coloring, bleaching, perming, etc. These damage the outer layer of your hair and cause split ends.
    • Always protect your hair from the sun’s rays. Excessive exposure to sunlight can weaken, break, and dry out hair.

    split ends treatment

The first thing is that you need to trim your hair immediately when you find the split ends. Use leave-in hair conditioner to get rid of split ends. With proper care and treatment, you can eliminate split ends and achieve healthy, shiny hair.
