Five Cures for Ugly Kitchen Designs

Just because you have an ugly kitchen doesn’t mean you have to leave it that way. There are many quick fixes that can spruce up the space, either for your own enjoyment or for resale value, without breaking the bank. From kitchen cabinets and flooring to cabinet fixtures and lighting, there is always a solution to banish the ugly kitchen and create a pleasant workspace.

Ugly Kitchen Problem No. # 1: fluorescent ceiling fixtures
Fluorescent ceiling fixtures are just awful. They do not light well and make everything in the kitchen a slight yellow hue. Rather, for an inexpensive option, remove the fluorescent fixtures and install a ceiling fan with lights. This will create better lighting in the kitchen and help keep the air circulating and fresh. Ceiling fans are also a great option to go “green” as they help reduce heating and cooling costs. Other ideas are to install track and undercounter lighting, and install some pendant pendants over an island or work area, and a ceiling light or two in other areas of the kitchen.

Ugly Kitchen Issue # 2 – Terrible Paint Colors
If you’ve bought the house from someone else, the kitchen may have been left in a 1970s throwback state. With green walls, yellow curtains, and brown cabinets, you feel like you could become Mrs. Brady anywhere. moment. Do not despair. Painting is one of the simplest ways to quickly and easily transform the look of your kitchen. First of all, remove the curtains and find a paint color that you enjoy for the kitchen walls. You can paint the walls white or enjoy a light yellow hue for a cheery appeal. If unsightly kitchen cabinets are worth saving, you may decide to simply re-coat the cabinet fronts or paint the cabinets a more attractive white, black, or tan.

Ugly kitchen problem n. # 3: outdated cabinet hardware
Now this is one of the ugliest kitchen problems to remedy. If the current cabinet pulls or knobs are unseemly, just remove them from the cabinets and find something more attractive. Take into account the size of the existing handle or knob, and to make renovation work easier, install new cabinet accessories with the same center of drilling. Pewter hardware is usually a great choice as it matches most cabinet doors, doesn’t fog up, and actually looks even more beautiful with continued handling. Look up cabinet hardware sales online and buy in bulk.

Ugly Kitchen Problem # 4 – Old Kitchen Cabinets
Perhaps you’ve inherited a kitchen table and chairs from the 1950s that’s falling apart and hard on the eyes. You have a few options with this piece of furniture. You can certainly throw it away and declare that everyone will eat at the dining room table from now on. If the furniture is made of wood, why not have fun painting it? Paint each chair a different, vibrant color and then paint the table with a combination of these various shades. If you just can’t save this set (or don’t want to), but want something else in the kitchen, you have a few options. Start going to yard sales and find a kitchen set that you like. Buy a kitchen island that has room to eat. Or save for the kitchen table of your dreams.

Ugly Kitchen Problem $ 5 – Breaking the Kitchen Floor
Many people try to ignore their ugly kitchen floor for as long as possible, as it is quite expensive to replace the floor. However, if you have horrible ceramic tile circa 1980s, or linoleum that screams for repair, it’s time to consider new flooring options. If you have the money, hardwood floors are a beautiful option and one that will stay relatively clean without too much care. Cork is an interesting option, as it is cheaper than hardware and can be a DIY project. Today, there are also many laminate flooring options that are inexpensive, easy to clean, and beautiful to look at. Select something that will last for years of use, is easy to clean, and meets the specific needs of your family.

While these are just a few of the many unpleasant kitchen dilemmas that we all face at some point, they should help pave the way to a much more attractive kitchen space. Even if you only have the time and money to paint your kitchen and a few new cabinet pulls, you’ll be surprised at the difference a few key changes can make.

EV Basics III – Why Drive Electric?

Important acronyms:

BEV: Battery Electric Vehicle – A vehicle that runs exclusively on the energy stored in its battery pack.

EV: Electric vehicle: any vehicle that uses electricity to provide some or all of the power to its wheels.

ICE – Internal Combustion Engine – The world warming and belching car power plants that were used in the dark ages of the 20th century.

kWh: kilowatt * hour: unit of energy equivalent to 1000 watts * hours. A 100-watt light bulb turned on for 10 hours uses 1 kWh of energy.

Li-Ion: Lithium-Ion – A battery chemistry that allows electric vehicles to travel much further on a single battery pack charge, compared to older battery technologies.

NiMH – Nickel Metal Hydride – A proven battery technology that has been used in electric vehicles for many years.

PHEV: Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle – A vehicle with an electric motor and battery pack that can be charged from a home electrical system, but also has an on-board ICE and a fuel tank that can power the car if the battery pack is powered. batteries is drained.

What is the problem? You have read articles on electric vehicles. You have seen people with posters at demonstrations. You know a lot of people want major automakers to start building electric cars for the masses, but you don’t know why. What are the benefits of electric vehicles? Why would someone choose an electric car over a gasoline vehicle?

The two main reasons to drive an electric vehicle are simple: cost and convenience.

“What’s that?” you might ask, “I thought electric vehicles were for saving the world!”

And you’d be making a good point. Studies have shown that a massive switch from gasoline-powered cars to electric vehicles would result in less pollution, including lower greenhouse gas emissions, even if the power grid gets 80% of its power from dirty, outdated coal plants. . In addition, the elimination of gasoline cars could eliminate our dependence on foreign oil. Getting rid of oil power would improve national and world security. As long as we depend on distant and politically unstable regions of the world for much of our energy supply, we run the risk of disasters. The world would be a safer place if each region produced its own energy in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

However, the bottom line is that overall, our lives would be better if everyone switched from ICE-powered cars to electric vehicles. We would save money, simplify our lives, and make our cars more comfortable to operate.

Imagine your day if you were driving an electric vehicle. It would take you just a few seconds to unplug your car every morning. Since the car is powered from a socket in the wall, it would be easy to design a system that allows you to tell your car when to turn on the electric heater so that your seats and the steering wheel are nice and warm when you climb in. You would never have to queue at gas stations. The powertrain of an EV is much simpler than the powertrain of an ICE-powered car, so your EV would be much more reliable and require much less maintenance. If you want a car that you hardly ever have to worry about, then an electric vehicle is the car for you.

Driving an electric vehicle also costs less. For example, let’s look at an electric vehicle currently being made by California-based company AC Propulsion. Your eBox uses a first-generation Scion xB platform, with the original ICE powertrain replaced by its electric powertrain. A standard 2006 Scion xB had a combined fuel mileage rating of 31 mpg. At gas prices of $ 3 / gallon, the xB uses 10 cents of gas per mile. The eBox can travel 120-150 miles on a single charge from its 35kWh battery pack. If we assume that electricity costs 10 cents per kWh and the battery is completely drained in 120 miles, then we calculate the cost of electricity at 3 cents per mile, a cost savings of 70%! Even in areas where electricity costs up to 20 cents per kWh, the eBox costs 40% less energy than a standard Scion xB.

Also, an EV never needs an oil change. You never need new spark plugs. Since it gets most of its stopping power from a regenerative braking system, brake pads and rotors last several times longer than an ICE-powered car. Since electric motors have much more torque at lower speeds compared to ICEs, transmissions in electric vehicles can be dramatically simplified. The simplified powertrain in an EV not only makes it more reliable, it also results in much lower maintenance costs.

Probably the most expensive part of an electric vehicle, in terms of maintenance, is the battery. All currently manufactured batteries have a limited life span. Unless this changes, all electric vehicles will eventually need a new battery, which will cost thousands of dollars. However, companies like A123 and Altairnano are developing lithium batteries with a much longer lifespan than current lithium-ion batteries. People also drive electric vehicles much further than expected on a single battery. Skeptics originally predicted that the NiMH batteries in the Toyota RAV4 EV, available in the US from 1997 to 2003, would have to be replaced during the first 50,000 miles of travel, but the RAV4 EV has surprised the community of EV, with several of the original battery packs lasting over 100,000 miles.

It’s reasonable to expect replacement battery prices to drop to $ 2000 when mass-produced for a major automaker. If the life of these battery packs can be increased to 150,000 miles through technological development, the cost per mile for battery use would be 1.3 cents. Compare that to the cost of getting an oil change at Jiffy Lube every 3000 miles. Using a “synthetic blend” motor oil will cost you $ 49.99 per visit, at a cost per mile of 1.6 cents. Additionally, there is much discussion in the EV community about the possibility of renting or leasing battery packs, which would effectively allow EV owners to spread the cost of battery replacement over the life of an EV.

Of course, no discussion of electric vehicle cost savings would be complete without mention of the large-scale cost savings associated with preventing global warming. If the world shifts from ICE-powered vehicles to electric vehicles powered by renewable energy sources, we can still reverse the heating trend that has been documented in recent years. This would not only save billions of dollars in the world; It could also save millions of lives.

At this point, an astute reader might argue: “Sure, what you’re saying looks good on paper, but what about the real world? From what I’ve seen, electric vehicles are currently more expensive than motorized cars. ICE, and their limited scope makes them less convenient. “

Clearly, electric vehicles have yet to reach their full potential in terms of cost, convenience, and reliability benefits. For example, an AC Propulsion eBox would cost you roughly $ 70,000 ($ 15K for a used Scion xB plus $ 55K for the conversion) versus roughly $ 20,000 for a new Scion xB. Why is there such a price difference? Volume! Tom Gage, president of AC Propulsion, predicts that the company could reduce the cost to “a retail price equivalent to $ 10,000 per powertrain” if they were making between 50,000 and 100,000 units per year. If a major automaker built millions of transmissions each year, costs would drop much lower.

Range issues are also being addressed through the rapid development of better batteries. The original GM EV1, introduced in 1996 with low-tech lead-acid batteries, had a “real world” range of between 45 and 75 miles, depending on how aggressively the car was driven. When GM introduced the same car with NiMH batteries, the range almost doubled. The Tesla Roadster, slated for production launch in early 2008, has a published range of 245 miles. Other electric vehicles slated for production, such as the Chevrolet Volt, which will be released around 2010, will be PHEVs. As such, homeowners will be able to plug in their volts and charge battery packs from an electrical outlet. The car will travel approximately forty miles on the energy stored in the batteries, but drivers need not worry if they drain the battery pack! The Volt will be equipped with a small generator and a fuel tank. The generator will automatically turn on before the batteries are depleted and provide enough electricity to power the car and recharge the batteries. The Volt will have a total range of 390 miles. If the fuel tank is low, just fill it up at a local gas station and the car is “ready to go” for another long stretch of road. Rumors are circulating that Tesla and Toyota are also developing PHEVs for release in the near future.

Convinced? Ready to make the move to a convenient and affordable electric vehicle? If so, you may be wondering how to encourage auto companies to build and sell electric vehicles as soon as possible. The good news is that you can choose from a few electric vehicles available right now, like the eBox described above. If $ 70K is too much money, you can buy one of the many electric bikes on the market today, starting at under $ 1000. If you want a little more power, enough to ride a multi-lane highway, you can buy a Vectrix MaxiScooter, with a top speed of 62 mph and a range of over sixty miles.

But most will agree that the golden age of electric vehicles is ahead. How do we make this golden age happen ASAP? Here are some ideas:

– Contact major car manufacturers and tell them you want to buy an electric vehicle. Let them know that you plan to put off buying a new vehicle until you can buy a BEV or PHEV. Car companies really do respond to customer demands. Think how quickly their marketing campaigns have gone from glorifying the size of their SUVs to showing off the gas mileage of their compact cars, now that gas prices are on the rise. The important role of public relations

Public relations is fundamentally the art and science of building relationships between an organization and its key audiences. Public relations plays a key role in helping business industries build strong customer relationships.

Public relations involves monitoring and evaluating public attitudes and maintaining mutual relationships and understanding between an organization and its public. The role of public relations is to improve communication channels and institute new ways of establishing a two-way flow of information and understanding.

Public relations is effective in helping to:

* Corporations transmit information about their products or services to potential customers.

* Corporations reach out to local government and legislators.

* Politicians attract votes and raise money, and create their public image and legacy.

* Non-profit organizations, including schools, hospitals, social service agencies, etc. boost support for your programs, such as awareness programs, fundraising programs, and increase sponsorship of your services

Public relations today employs various techniques, such as opinion polls and focus groups to assess public opinion, combined with a variety of high-tech techniques to distribute information on behalf of its clients, including the Internet, satellite broadcasts, broadcasts of faxes and databases. -controlled telephone banks.

Since public image is important to all organizations and prominent personalities, the role of the public relations specialist becomes relevant in crisis situations. Public relations agencies provide an important and timely transmission of information that helps save the face of the organization. In the words of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), “Public relations helps an organization and its public to adopt each other.”

Experienced PR agencies have formulation press releases in which they can include company news, as well as a list of publications specific to your industry. Truly good PR agencies generally have a good working relationship with key reporters, increasing your chances of getting coverage. Some PR agencies deal only with large, established clients, while smaller PR agencies specialize in certain areas.

Currently, public relations as a career option exist in private companies or government institutions that actively market their products, services and facilities. Public relations training courses are widespread in educational institutions. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 122,000 public relations specialists in the United States in 1998 and approximately 485,000 advertising, marketing, and public relations directors working in all industries.

Most public relations professionals are recruited from the ranks of journalism. Public relations officers are highly trained professionals with experience and knowledge in many areas, for example, managing shareholders during a crisis, the evolving role of the internal public relations professional, account management skills for public relations, an introduction to financial public relations, an introduction to consumer public relations, an introduction to public relations software, etc.

The challenge of training a border collie

Herding cats is not easy! If you don’t believe me, you can ask my border collie, Jake. We live on a ranch, so Jake is a working dog. Has a job. When cows need to be herded from point A to point B, it’s Jake’s job to get them there. Jake loves his job and he does it very well. He wouldn’t dream of playing with cows, that’s his job, but Jake is a Border Collie, and Border Collies are born with a natural herding instinct. So, Jake herds the cats (or tries to) just for fun. He hasn’t had much luck with that yet, but he will never give up.

Training a border collie, regardless of popular opinion, is not easy. It is not difficult to train a Border Collie because it is dumb. Border Collies are anything BUT dumb! No, the problems that come up when training a Border Collie are because they are TOO smart. A border collie WANTS to obey his master. You want to do exactly what your teacher wants you to do. But there are problems in training border collies because the trainer can send mixed signals without even realizing it.

For example, you can teach a Border Collie to sit on command in just two or three tries. But then the next time you give it the command to “sit”, it will look at it for further instructions. Why? Because you raised your arm in a different way or used a different tone of voice when you gave the order, then he thinks this is a different order. You need to find out what you want me to do. Consistency is the key to training a Border Collie. You must use the same commands (both voice and hand signals) in the same exact and precise way every time.

Pastoral Theology Fundamentals of Ministry It is an “essential” resource for all those who contemplate entering the ministry, those who want to understand more clearly the role of pastors and ministers who want to review their role in the light of a systematic reflection on the pastoral office in general.

I enjoyed this book very much, even more than its Theology Agenda. I believe he presented his theory of ordained ministry, including a definition of its functions and duties underlying the method of theological principles, in a succinct and easy-to-understand way. The entire book is a treasure trove of resources for all who wish to increase their understanding of this profession and what it means to be a pastor. However, my comments are limited to the three chapters that stand out the most for me: Women in pastoral care, care for souls Y Pastoral care of the dying.

Women in ministry will find Oden’s favorable position over women serving in pastoral capacities quite enlightening, affirmative, and biblically sound. He makes some significant observations that certainly challenge the most intransigent opposition. Most controversial discussions about the legitimacy of women in pastoral ministry arise due to hermeneutical differences. In Pastoral theology, Oden presents her own hermeneutics, as well as the hermeneutics of those who oppose the ordination of women to pastoral ministry. He argues for women on the basis of the larger biblical picture; Look for the general principles inherent in the flow of Scripture. It also takes into account the historical and cultural dynamics within which the inspired writer wrote. Implicit in Oden’s comments is the notion that the issue of women is not simple or merely academic. It is at the very heart of our struggle to be united as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

Oden brilliantly distinguishes the pastoral care of souls from other pastoral functions by illuminating his primary focus on individual needs and the personal nature of the parishioner’s involvement with the parishioner. His approach is holistic and deeply human.

Although somewhat implicit, I want Oden to emphasize more explicitly the need for pastors to have the proper education and psychological qualifications for the task of caring for souls. Certainly, with the multi-problematic preoccupations of people today, with the mental anomalies that doggedly grip them, does it not seem appropriate for pastors to be intellectually prepared and academically prepared for their work? The pastor is a “physician of the soul” and just as today’s physicians must know much more and practice more expertly to meet people’s health needs, so will the physician of the soul.

Finally, Oden’s treatment and recommendation for pastoral care of the dying is extremely informative. It outlines pastoral responsibilities and offers helpful guidelines for counseling the dying and relating to hospital staff. Any reader who has not thought about the importance of the funeral would do well to study these sections carefully, as some very compelling evidence is presented.

This book is a classic and should be in every pastor’s personal library. Although, as with most books, there are specific areas where we are meant to disagree, overall, the information and ideas presented are worth their weight in gold.

Swinger lifestyle tips for exercising

Exercising on a swinger lifestyle date

A swinger lifestyle date can consist of a single man or woman meeting a partner. In this situation, couples often start touching each other as a signal to the single that they are okay to start a sexual relationship with him or her. The single needs to respond positively but with a degree of caution, being careful to look for other confirmatory signs. In cases where the couple does not take the initiative in such an obvious way, the single person will need to orient the date towards sex and be careful to allow the meeting to become a purely social encounter.

In dating meetings, swinger dates will depend a lot on the personalities of the two couples. When both partners are shy or a little nervous first time swingers, the opportunity to exercise can be completely lost. When this happens, both couples are likely to return home disappointed and never try to meet again.

When one or both couples are seasoned swingers or have more outgoing personalities, the date will likely proceed in the same way as the single date with a partner described above; with one of the couples making things work by touching.

Choice of appointment

In each of the above swinger lifestyle scenarios, the choice of the encounter has a great influence on the amount of stroking that will take place and how intimate it is likely to be. A meeting in a restaurant, for example, will clearly offer few opportunities for intimate contact compared to a date that takes place at the home of one or the other couple.

Swinger Party Touching Tag

Swinger parties provide an environment where the opportunity to touch each other sexually in public has little to no limits. But that does not mean that they are sexually free for everyone. Swingers who attend sex parties must still observe a certain etiquette when moving from the social stage to the foreplay stage and even during the sex play stage itself. How things proceed and how quickly they proceed can be influenced by the number and combinations of people involved. This could be quite different for a single man with a group of partners than for a couple with a single woman. It is likely to be different again between two or three couples than for a mixed singles group.

Careful observation, listening, and response

The most important requirements for knowing when to start playing are observation, listening, and response. By developing good listening and observation skills, you won’t even have to worry about initiating physical contact, as this will get the other person to touch you first.

It is vital that you understand and accept that swingers have a ‘Doesn’t mean no’ rule. This applies to all physical contact and must be respected in all encounters, even those occurring in the most active stage of the procedure. Never assume that other people are happy to be touched intimately just because they attend sex parties and participate in a swinger lifestyle. The simple fact is; swingers are no different from everyone else. They choose who they want to be intimate with. Always check that it is okay to move to the next level.

With many swingers there may also be an additional set of conditions that must be determined and adhered to. These are the special conditions that the pair have agreed to with each other about what is okay and what is taboo in their swing. For example, some couples will have agreed to go so far as to have oral sex outside of their own partner. Others may have a rule about having sex in the same room only with their own partner.

How to give your girlfriend or wife an amazing massage

This Valentine’s Day, give a special touch to everything you have planned by ending the evening with a super fabulous massage just for her. This selfless act is not only a super romantic way to make her feel special and show her how much you care, but it also gives her a chance to relax and be pampered by you. So get ready to rock her world with a sexy and sensual massage that she will hopefully never forget!

Getting ready:

Step 1: choose the space

So before you get to the part where you are almost (or completely) naked and covered in oil, make sure you have everything well thought out. It is important to create a comfortable space free from distractions (ie cell phones turned off!) Where you can set the mood for a romantic massage. The bedroom is probably an ideal place for most, but creating a smooth surface on the floor works great too. If you are using the bed, make sure it is well prepared by using clean sheets (which is fine for her to put on oil as it can stain) or even covering the bed with towels. Presentation is important here, so make sure it looks good, and whatever you do, no sticky beach towels! If you’re desperate, check the dollar store for some white or neutral-colored towels or sheets that won’t push you too far back. Staining your 600 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding with massage oil is not romantic!

Step 2: Set the mood

Now that you have chosen the space, it is important to make sure you have all the massage items that are essential to setting the mood and creating the right atmosphere. It is up to you how far you want to take it, but things like scented candles (avoiding anything too scented or strong), rose petals, and soothing music are great ways to create a relaxing atmosphere and make it romantic.

Step 3: get the products

Having a good massage oil on hand is essential to achieve a relaxing experience for both of you. Avoid anything with too strong a scent and look for specific massage products as they provide the most pleasant texture and don’t absorb too quickly (reapplying every minute ruins the flow). If you are looking for an alternative to massage oils, there are also massage bars that melt on contact with the skin, as well as massage candles that work like hot oil when poured onto the skin. Although they provide the most pleasant experience, you don’t necessarily need fancy massage products to get the job done. If necessary, you can use a rich body butter, baby oil or sunflower oil, adding a few drops of an essential oil to give it fragrance. Olive oil is absolutely impossible! Smelling like Greek salad is not a good way to put her in the mood. Also avoid lubricant. Sure, it works, but it’s also suggestive and a bit rough. Let’s keep the class.

Techniques application:

Step 4: Give the massage

Now, the most important part; giving an incredible massage. Once you are lying down, put a pillow under your feet to make it more comfortable. Gently put some massage oil on your hands and rub them together. This heats up the oil and is better than pouring it directly onto your skin, which may be cold and a little shaken. Avoid using too much oil, which will make the massage slippery and difficult (you can always add more). Slow and continuous movement is important for a good massage. Allow one blow to develop into another, while slowly moving to other areas of your body. Start with her neck and shoulders, using your thumbs and fingertips to gently knead her skin. Put less pressure on your neck, as this area is often very tender to the touch. Gradually move in a circular motion from your upper back, to your sides, and then to your lower back. Apply additional oil as needed and continue down both legs (focusing on one leg at a time), until you reach your feet. Massage the soles of your feet in constant circular motions with your thumbs, applying a little more pressure to avoid tickling.

Step 5: Know the pleasure points

Pay attention to areas of your body that are not stimulated frequently. Try stroking erogenous zones like the backs of the knees, ears, nape, and wrists. Make sure you don’t forget to massage your scalp, as this area is often overlooked during a massage. Just make sure your hands are oil-free if you get close to her hair, or that nice idea may not be as welcome for her.

Step 6: Get their feedback

Communication is the key to an incredible massage. Always pay attention to her body language and how she responds to different strokes, the level of pressure, and where you are massaging her. If you are not sure, ask politely what feels good and if the pressure is right. Spend more time on the areas to which you respond positively with verbal cues or physical cues of enjoyment.

Other considerations:

Keep distractions to a minimum. This experience should consist of the two of you connecting and enjoying your time together, so cell phones, televisions, and any other potential distractions should be eliminated.

Avoid the rush and reserve enough time. To give a massage correctly, you must dedicate at least 20 to 30 minutes. The slower and longer you can massage it, the more relaxing and sensual the experience will be.

Raise the heat, literally. It’s no fun being exposed and covered in oil when it’s freezing. By keeping the temperature above 75 degrees F, you will ensure that you stay warm and comfortable so that you can enjoy the experience.

Be gentle. Go easy, Hulk. It is important to remember that the level of pressure that she might prefer is probably not the one that feels best for her. She is delicate and women are much more sensitive to touch than men, so take the pressure off. Unless she requests otherwise, soft, smooth strokes are generally preferred.

Don’t forget the extras. This all depends on your relationship level, personal preferences, and your imagination. Incorporating other elements can eventually take a sensual massage into naughtier territory and be a perfect way to spice it up a bit. Items like feather tickling, hot lube, eye bandages, and edible body paints are great ways to add some sexy fun.

Top 10 Questions About Ferret Kits

Baby ferrets, or puppies, as they are also called, are charming little creatures that have a strong personality and lots of energy. As such, many people who want to buy a ferret think about starting over with a baby ferret. However, many are confused about what it means to take care of a baby. Here are the answers to the 10 most common questions about baby ferrets.

1. Is a kit suitable for me?

This mainly depends on your available time. It is true that kits are more active and much more playful than adult ferrets, so they require much more time and attention, but give them the love they need and you will be able to watch them grow and enjoy them full of energy for years to come. . Keep in mind that you must train and socialize the little one; in effect, you will be his older (human) brother, teaching him to distinguish good from evil.

The problem is even more complicated if you already have young children at home. Human children and ferret children are not a good combination, as not only will you find it difficult to spend time with both, but children can often be quite cruel to small animals even without realizing it, and the kits have the bad habit of pinching. As such, there is the potential for conflict and injury. So before making the decision, think about whether or not you can give the kit all the time and attention it needs, without affecting your job or your children.

2. How much does a kit cost?

This depends from country to country and whether you buy it from a pet store, breeder, or shelter. In the US, you should be prepared to pay between $ 75- $ 300. Shelters are the cheapest, but you will usually only find adult ferrets there. Pet stores are in second place, while breeders are the most expensive.

3. When can I neuter / descend my baby ferret?

If you want to neuter and / or lower them, wait until they enter the seventh week of their life.

4. What should I feed my baby ferret?

Unless you have raised him since he was born, a kit must be weaned from his old diet. To make life easier for you, when shopping for your new pet, ask the breeder or pet store clerk what kind of food they have been feeding you and, if they have given you special food, what brand it was. If you decide to change your diet, don’t do it abruptly, but slowly and gradually introduce the new food into your diet.

While adults will do fine eating cat food, ferret food is recommended for babies because they need higher quality protein in their diet and cat food just doesn’t have that. One tip to remember is to soak your food in warm water for a few minutes, regardless of whether you are changing your diet or not. Make sure the food is 35 percent or more protein and 20 percent fat, and look for balanced fats, such as poultry fat, because it contains a better mix of essential fatty acids, essential for your little ferret. Also make sure you have plenty of water all the time and change the water twice a day. Never leave your baby without water! Dehydration can cause serious health problems.

5. Is it safe for my children to play with a kit?

For the sake of your young ferret and your children, it’s probably a good idea to keep them apart as much as possible, or at least keep them under supervision while they play with each other. The problem is both ways: children can easily hurt a baby ferret while playing with it, and the latter has a bad (albeit cute) habit of being agile. Biting is not a habit to encourage in your ferret, especially when you have young children around.

6. How should I configure the cage for my kit?

You should prepare a large cage for them and make sure they have enough space to move and play. Try to avoid metal cages as they are prone to rust. If you buy a cage made of plastic-coated wires, make sure your furry doesn’t chew on the wires. The cage should also have plenty of places for the kit to sleep and hide. Accessories like hammocks and sleeping bags are highly appreciated by babies, but make sure they don’t hurt themselves when using them. For bedding you can use any type of soft padding.

7. Do baby ferrets need vaccinations?

Depending on their age, little ferrets generally need up to five vaccinations. If you bought it from a reputable source, you probably already had your first shit (called a distemper shot), so you don’t have to worry about that. Make sure the ferret you buy has a health certificate, so you can see what vaccinations it already had and take it to the vet to schedule future vaccinations.

8. How many babies can a mother ferret have?

Normally, a mother will give birth to 7 or 8 young.

9. My ferret has just given birth, but her young appear blind. This is normal?

Don’t worry, this is completely normal. Like many other animals, ferrets are practically blind at birth. Only later, after about three weeks, do they begin to open their eyes.

10. When can baby ferrets leave their mother?

They are ready to leave their mother after six weeks. This is when you should step in and take on the role of ferret parent. Remember to take them to the vet when they are seven weeks old.

Trends in the United States Real Estate Market

Median home prices reached $ 506,000 in Los Angeles County in March 2006, breaking the half-million-dollar mark for the first time in history. That figure is double the area’s median price just four years ago.

The good news for prospective home buyers in other areas of the country is that half a million dollars can still buy a good chunk of housing in much of the rest of the United States. For example, even though central Oregon is experiencing significant increases in both population and home prices, the median price is lower than Los Angeles County, yet still higher than a significant number from other areas of the country. For example, the median home price in Bend increased more than 30% in 2005, to $ 327,500. Another central Oregon city, Madras, saw an 187% increase in the number of home sales in the first quarter of 2006.

The main force driving the home price boom in Oregon, as well as the Southwest and Pacific Northwest states, is the influx of Californians selling their more expensive homes and moving to areas where they can typically buy more. houses for less money. Another factor is that with rising values, many local homeowners are capitalizing on the equity in their homes and trading for more expensive ones.

Another area that is growing significantly is San Antonio, Texas, where the median home price increased more than 9% over the past year to $ 131,900. However, the San Antonio real estate market mirrored that of Los Angeles County, with few sales, even though prices were higher overall. There is also a considerable amount of new home construction in that area.

Some areas of California are booming as a result of skyrocketing prices in Southern California. One of the busiest is the area that includes Riverside, Ontario and San Bernardino, which has seen an unprecedented increase in new residents between 2000 and 2004, an estimated 46,000 of whom were transplants from the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

In the southeastern United States, Florida also continues to grow at a rapid pace, driven in large part by the influx of former residents of the New York City metropolitan area. In fact, an estimated 41,500 people moved from that area to Orlando, Miami and Tampa in 2004. One of the reasons the area is experiencing such rapid growth is job opportunities. The area’s work scene was once dominated by Disney World, but that’s no longer the case.

Calculating up to the last seven years of tribulation

All Biblical references taken from the original King James Version of the Bible

As I calculate the seven years of tribulation, I will be working with the Jewish / Babylonian / lunar calendar. I note here that I will also use Hebrew / Greek words in my calculations because they are critical for the reader to understand how we got to the seven-year tribulation of Daniel’s prophecy, which has yet to come. (“H7620 .. shabuwa` shabua` shebu`ah .. Properly passive participle of H7650 as a denominative of H7651; literally cut off, that is, a week (specifically of years): – seven, week.”), Found in Strong’s Module match in e-Sword.

NOTE: “SHABUWA / Weeks of Years” and “SHABUA / Week of Years” are ALWAYS counted in SEVEN, (ie 7 days, weeks, months, years). Please don’t lose the site of that fact or none of this will make sense. Is that how it works:

READ: DANIEL 9: 24-26

7 (weeks of years / “shabuwa”) x 7 = 49 years

“Threescore” (60 prophetic weeks, 7 years each), + (2 weeks of 7 years each), calculators like this:

60 x 7 + 2 (two weeks of seven years each are 14 years) = 434 prophetic years

Then we add the first (49) years, and this is what it looks like

60 x 7 + 14 (weeks of years) + 49 = 483 prophetic years, or (69 weeks / meaning of “shabuwa”, 7 years each), which have already been completed in biblical times.

*** REMEMBER, (70 PROPHETIC WEEKS), they were determined about the holy city and its people. By my calculations, we are seven (7 prophetic years, or a “shabua” week) missing from Daniel’s prophecy. So where are the remaining seven years, you might ask … well, I’ll calculate them now …

70 x 7 weeks of years = a total of (490) prophetic years. WAIT, there is more to calculate …

Let me stop for a moment to note that FROM, the initial decree to rebuild Jerusalem, (beginning in 444 BC in the month of Nisan – March / April). TO, the FIRST coming of Christ, riding into the rebuilt Holy City of Jerusalem, on a donkey, took, (483 or 69 Babylonian / Jewish years), after which Jesus was “cut off” or crucified, just a few days after your departure. Jerusalem. We still have seven, (7) weeks of years left, so let’s find out what’s going on with that … Notice that in the Jewish / Babylonian calendar, there were always two months together.

Still working from the Babylonian / Jewish / lunar calendar

483 prophetic years, (from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the first coming of Christ)

490 Jewish years to fulfill Daniel’s prophecy (70 weeks of years / “shabuwa”)

490 minus 483 = 7 (YOU HAVE SEVEN YEARS TO GO)

After running the numbers, I have shown you that there are seven, (7) years left until Daniel’s prophecy (490 years) is fulfilled, which was given to him in a vision, delivered by Gabriel. Now, let’s notice that there is a reason why these last seven years, (of Tribulation or Time of Trouble), have not yet materialized, it is because, since Jesus was crucified on the cross, (which marked the beginning of a period, or Dispensation of Grace, sometimes called GAP), we have been living in the period of GAP or Grace.

However, the Grace / Breach period will end and the last Seven, (7) TRIBULATION Years will have officially begun, when the Antichrist (the first beast or prince, along with his companion, the False Prophet, the second beast), enters. on stage and makes a one week prophetic / Shabua agreement / pact with Israeli Jews). This clearly DISASSEMBLES the myth that there is no such thing as the Seven Year Tribulation. The Bible may not specifically dot each (i) and cross each (T) with the exact wording, however all one needs to do is CALCULATE!

REMOVABLE MYTHS

MYTH ONE: THERE IS NO Seven (7) Year Tribulation – My calculations in this article, (I believe), have proven that statement to be totally FALSE

MYTH TWO: That Jesus’ death on the cross is what ended or broke the covenant that was made with Israeli Jews … FALSE

NOTE: Let’s take a closer look at the second myth. Jesus’ death on the cross was NOT the reason the covenant with the Jewish people was broken, quite the contrary. The second half of, (DAN. 9:26), clearly states that Jesus did not die on the cross for himself or for the “prince’s people” (note, this prince is spelled with a lowercase p), the Sometimes it is refers to the antichrist (in scripture) as a prince. Also, notice in, (vs. 25), he uses a capital letter (P) when referring to “Messiah” being “cut off” or crucified.

Verse (26) also says that the little prince (p) will come and destroy the “city and the sanctuary,” or Jerusalem and the temple. THAT IS NOT GOD / JESUS. At that moment, God destroyed the earth with a “flood”, DO YOU REMEMBER Noah and the Arch? Verse (27), from Daniel’s vision / prophecy, lets us know that this prince will make a covenant of a week, of seven years, “with many”, that is, the Jewish nation of Israel, I believe it was called Judah in biblical times. .

The prince / Antichrist will break this agreement with the Jews in the “middle of the week”, or half, (7 years divided by 2 = 3 1/2 years), according to, (DAN. 9:27), this is what ended with Jewish sacrifices and prayers in his beloved TEMPLE. OUR God will NEVER make and then break a promise. God does EVERYTHING in an orderly and timely manner.

Do not forget my calculations and the Hebrew word, “SHABUWA” (which means weeks of years, each week = 7 years), which leaves ONLY a prophetic week that has not been fulfilled. This is our lost week / seven years of TRIBULATION, which will end Daniel’s PROPHECY (70 years), after which Jesus will make his TRIUMPHANT SECOND COMING, that’s the GOOD NEWS. Although, the Holy Scripture says CLEARLY, that NO man will know the day or the hour when the Son of Man will come, (READ: Matthew 24: 36-39 … Focus on verses 36 and 37), make no mistake, God is going to come back AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
