Never compare insurance based solely on price

Insurance comparison websites simplify the insurance shopping process, and most people now shop for insurance through these sites. Once you know the kind of coverage you need, enter a few details on any of these sites and get instant access to multiple insurance companies with the cheapest quote displayed in seconds.

While the process of buying insurance, especially auto and home insurance, seems streamlined, the same cannot be said for products.

The insured enters into a contract each time they purchase an insurance policy and, like any contract, it must be carefully examined to determine its suitability for the purchaser.

The frequency of advertising in print and electronic media by the owners of these sites drowns out the complaints and murmurs of people who may have had a claim denied because they based their insurance buying decision on price ( premium) only.

As a way of illustrating how using price alone to select an appropriate insurance policy could be problematic, let’s look at how the price of a hamburger is determined.

£0.99 might buy you a burger at a McDonald’s restaurant, but that same store will also have a burger made from a similarly sized bun for £5.99. The difference in the price of the two burgers is the topping.

While the cheapest burger may only contain beef, the more expensive offering will likely have better quality beef, possibly bacon plus lettuce, onion, mayonnaise, mushrooms, and pickles.

The £0.99 burger (let’s call it the basic burger) may appeal to some, but not necessarily be what others want.

The £5.99 Burger (ROBUSTA Burger), although more expensive, may be just what the other person needs to satisfy their appetite and is willing to pay more to satisfy their needs, as long as they are aware of the extras that add up to make this other burger expensive.

Basic vs comprehensive policies

As in the previous example, insurance policies can also be said to be basic or ROBUST/comprehensive. However, it’s not always easy for all insurance buyers to tell the difference between basic and comprehensive, especially when presented in abbreviated versions with the cheapest ranked first.

The risks covered as standard by insurance company ‘A’ could be sold as a supplement by company ‘B’.

The premium quoted by ‘A’ may appear higher than ‘B’ because the standard policy offered by ‘B’ is minimal coverage. If you later opt for this policy because of the cheaper price without realizing that some of the risks you need are not included, this could lead to a dispute when a loss/claim is reported.

Potential conflict of interest

Some of the comparison websites are wholly or partly owned by insurance companies and therefore a conflict of interest may arise. Therefore, the results of quoted premiums could be biased in favor of parent or associated companies.

The operators of these sites may also be influenced by offering high commission rates which result in the sites promoting particular brands.

Some insurers are not included

At the time of writing, some of Britain’s biggest insurance companies, notably Aviva and Direct Line, are not listed on comparison websites so you may be able to get better terms from companies that are not. are listed.

Finally, it should be noted that these comparison sites only serve as intermediaries, linking the prospective buyer to the insurance companies. They only present the premiums generated by algorithms provided by the insurers and then direct the buyer to the insurer’s website with the chosen quote. In the event of a dispute arising, attributable to a misunderstanding at the time of listing, these companies are unlikely to take responsibility.

What is dark tantra?

Many of you have read some of the popular best-selling books of an erotic nature. Many of the plots invite you to imagine walking on the wilder side of sex. Perhaps you have been curious to try new activities in your own room with your partner. But what is dark tantra compared to what else we know about tantra? Dark tantric sex is built on the foundation of breath work, connecting with your lover through deliberate, exploratory touch, and eye-to-eye soul gaze. Once you start moving into the “darker” areas like bondage, sensory play, sensation play, fetishes, and other sadomasochistic dynamics in a space that is both sacred and safe, the energy flows too.

The true definition of Dark Tantra is that which becomes a combined marriage between the world of BDSM and Tantra. This union creates the perfect combination of the forbidden and the bliss.

Yin and yang energy is about the exchange between feminine and masculine energy. Yin is the feminine aspect and yang is the masculine aspect. Total harmony comes from these two energies meeting and interacting with each other. The very core of dominance and submission is the essential blend of yin and yang; of the feminine and the masculine. Dark tantra honors both parts of ourselves without shame, fear, or lack of true intimacy.

Any sexual act involving BDSM between two partners should not be devoid of trust, understanding, compassion, and of course, love. No energy is inferior to the other. Respect also plays a key role in dark tantra.

An important aspect of erotic play is when each member of the couple accesses the energy of the giver or receiver. For a good majority of people, this exchange of energy can sometimes trigger underlying feelings of fear and shame. Tantra combined with BDSM can shed some light on popular misconceptions about this energy exchange, by educating you on the nature of yin and yang energy between couples in a safe and sexy way. In addition to speeding up your sex life, the true benefit of Dark Tantra lies in its ability to free you from everything from your own inhibitions, and rid yourself of negative associations you’ve picked up from society that limit your enjoyment and full self-expression. Allow all your erotic energy to flourish and grow in an act that honors all that is and can be.

How to get dewy skin in 5 easy steps

Smooth, dewy skin is sexy. A dewy face says, “I’m young, I’m healthy, and yes, I look good.” Any self-respecting fashionista has her secret tactics for getting a kiss-it-up beauty haze look. But if somehow your recipe for getting your skin to glow without looking greasy has failed you, read on, because in a matter of minutes your skin and your inner Vanity Queen (or King) will thank you.

Step 1: Smooth your skin

Your skin is a canvas. You can paint pretty on bare walls, but you can’t “paint pretty” on skin ravaged by a rough texture. So the first step to getting the fun wet look is to remove the dead, dry and unsightly layers of your skin.

A cheap and painless way to do this is with a two dollar bottle of cuticle remover. Yes, that is correct. You don’t always need a $90 facial to peel off the uneven layers of your skin when a makeshift “skin softener” will do the trick.

Cuticle removers dissolve skin proteins while detergents such as sulfates lift and remove dirt. Also, some cuticle pushers contain agents like sodium chloride to leave the skin moist. To smooth your skin with a cuticle pusher, do the following:

    1. Cleanse your face with your favorite facial soap, I just suggest your basic glycerin soap 2. Pat your skin dry 3. Spread a layer of the cuticle remover on your face while avoiding the eye area 4. Let the cuticle remover work on skin for one to two minutes 5. Rinse off cuticle remover

Step 2 – Build Layers of Moisture

The real key to getting that wet and dewy look is having moisture-rich skin. Dry, unhealthy skin will never look dewy and vibrant. With that, our next steps on the road to “Operation Cara Dewy” is to infuse the skin with great hydration.

Step 3: Design and use a face mist

My favorite thing to do in the morning is spritz my face with my own custom face mist. I created this mist for less than three bucks whereas you would have to shell out over $20 to buy a similar face mist in stores. Here’s how to make your own face mist:

    1. Get a 4-8 ounce bottle with a spray nozzle or be an environmentalist and recycle one you have around your house. 2. Go to the drug store and head to the skin care aisle. Take a 4 ounce bottle of “Rose Water” with glycerin. This is a generic natural skincare product and therefore cheap. However, don’t let the price fool you. This steal has just about every element you need to make a high-class facial mist: a rose hydrosol and a moisture-locking ingredient, glycerin. 3. While you’re out shopping, have a bottle of witch hazel. It will cost you between two and four dollars. 4. Now, mix two ounces of the “Rose Water” mixture with two ounces of witch hazel in your bottle with a spray nozzle. You now have a wonderful facial mist. 5. You can customize this facial mist by adding a few drops of essential oils such as ravensara, rose, lavender, geranium, or ylang-ylang. Plus, you can add a rosemary, mint, or citrus spring to your mist for added botanical benefits.

Step 4: Add layers of moisture to your skin

Now that you have smooth, clean skin and a face mist, you’re ready to build the layers of moisture that will create that lovely dewy look.

Here’s how you create those layers of moisture once you’ve smoothed your skin with cuticle pusher:

    1. Spray your skin with your facial mist. A light layer of visible moisture should remain on your skin. Previous layers of moisturizers will lock in the moisture that this facial spray offers. 2. Now this step may seem silly, but it makes a noticeable difference in the final look of your skin. Clean your hands. Then rub a deep moisturizing hand cream into your hands. This step is important because you are using your hands to apply moisturizer to your face. If your hands are dry and chapped, your fingers will soak up much of the moisturizer meant for your face. 3. Then, if it’s daytime, apply your sunscreen (even if your foundation has sunscreen). If it’s night, apply a light facial cream. 4. Spray your face once more with the facial mist, but use a lighter layer than you used previously. This spray does not need to be visible. 5. Next, mix a pea-sized amount of your liquid foundation with a pea-sized amount of your face moisturizer. 6. Apply the combination of foundation and moisturizer to your face. The dew is done.

Step 5: Repeat

Now repeat step four daily, while making sure to smooth your skin with a cuticle pusher or compatible skin care product. This repetition is critical because every day that you moisturize your skin, you are preparing it for a fresh, healthy, dewy appearance. Enjoy the dew.
