How to create an online marketing plan

When creating an online marketing plan, you have to take into account all your objectives for it. You need to understand who your audience is, how to get them to know you, and what their buying process is, so you can create the best online marketing plan for them.

This is what an online marketing plan will consist of.

Website administration and updates

From the very beginning, create a website that takes into account all the rules of SEO. Do this from the first page created, to every page that links to, and every article, blog post, or image you include. Everything should be something that you know will advance your marketing goals.

SEO: on and off the page

Learn all you can about SEO, because getting organic traffic that you don’t pay directly for through pay-per-click or other ad types is worth even more than paid traffic. Why? Audience members who search for you, rather than the other way around, are more likely to become paying customers. They are going to be much more likely to buy than someone who reads and responds to an ad.

Link building on and off your website

Link building helps search engines, but it also helps your audience find your information in a more organized way. Consider your link building strategy and create a plan of action that provides links from outside your website to your content, as well as links within your website to more of your content.

Junk mail

No online marketing plan is complete without email marketing. Email marketing is the lifeblood of your online marketing plan and will infuse your online marketing program. With email marketing, you have a way to capture leads, convert them into customers, and more.

blog

It all starts with your website or blog. All the content you create, all the products you promote, and all the services you provide, live on your blog or website. Even if you have a store, the website or blog is the lynchpin of your online existence.

social networks

Using social media to promote your content and information to your audience is a great way to get the word out. Plus, it’s a great way to engage and build trust with your target audience. You can have conversations, share interesting things you read, share the information others share with you, and more.

pay per click

With Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads and more, you can run pay-per-click campaigns that get great results and are a nice addition to the other types of marketing you do online.

reputation management

Use articles, e-reports, white papers, posts, messages, and more to boost and manage your online reputation. This is a useful aspect of online marketing that should not be ignored.

Book Review The Velvet Rabbit by Margery Williams Bianco

A stuffed rabbit (with real yarn whiskers) comes to life in this timeless tale of the transformative power of love. Given as a Christmas present to a small child, the Velveteen Rabbit lives in the nursery with all the other toys, waiting for the day when the Child (as he is called) chooses him as a playmate. Over time, the shy Rabbit befriends the ragged Fur Horse, the nursery’s wisest resident, who reveals the goal of all the toys in the nursery: to become “real” through the love of a human.

This is The Filipinos Group’s December group read on Goodreads, and after seeing that a PDF is available for free on the web, I immediately downloaded a copy. It is a short read, a fast reader can finish it in 10-15 minutes.

First published in 1922, The Velveteen Rabbit has been republished many times since then, and several film adaptations have been made. Margery Williams Bianco, the author, lost her father to sudden death when she was 7 years old and dealt with this tragedy by transforming the pain and loss into literature.

the velvet rabbit is short but charming, a timeless classic that pinches the heart of all readers, young and old. It speaks of the transforming power of love and, as in most children’s stories, of each toy’s desire to come true.

Here is my favorite part of the book, my favorite lines underlined:

“That is real?” asked the Rabbit one day, when they were lying side by side near the defense of the nursery, before Nana came to tidy up the room. “Does it mean having things that buzz inside you and a handle that sticks out?”

“Real is not how you are made,” Skin Horse said. “It’s something that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.”

“I take it you’re real?” said the Rabbit. And then he wished he hadn’t said it, because he thought the Skin Horse might be sensitive. But the Skin Horse only smiled. “The boy’s uncle made me real,” he said. “That was many years ago; but once you are Real you cannot be unreal again. It lasts forever.

The above excerpt, to me, is the whole point of the story. I must confess that I had a hard time grasping the concept of “getting real” since the story is told from the point of view of a toy, an inanimate object, which is obviously not me. I wonder how a child reading the book could understand it more than I do, since to me being real is a philosophical concept, beyond the reach of a small child. But who am I to underestimate the wisdom of a child?

Let me equate the concept of “real” to being “meaningful”. This is the closest synonym to the word that occurred to me in this story. The toy rabbit felt and became real because it served its purpose. As a toy, it has brought joy and comfort to its owner, which, to me, is its primary purpose. If you want to get more out of life, or in the case of a toy rabbit, to be alive and real, you must learn to live for and with others. Life is not meant to be spent alone. It must be lived not only for oneself, but more particularly for others. Being able to give and share one’s life with others. Because it is by sharing and giving that man feels unparalleled joy. In fact, whoever feels significant, important, needed, feels real because he has found meaning and purpose to live.

HIIT training in swimming pool

Winter may be coming, but indoor pools are a great way to get a high-intensity workout without all the impact. The best part is that you don’t have to be someone who can swim every stroke proficiently (you have to be able to swim far enough to not create a dangerous situation for yourself in the water) in order to exercise in the pool. There are many moves like high knees, glute kicks, squats, lunges, and much more that you can do to get a great workout in the pool, especially in shallow water. And if you’re in an area where it’s still hot, then a pool or even the ocean (on a flat surface where there’s no marine life) will work just fine.

Workouts in the water are great for those who don’t want a high-impact workout. That being said, you can still get a high-intensity workout in the pool. The benefit is that you have the resistance of the water surrounding your entire body adding an extra element of intensity. Just like any other pool exercise, the key is to make sure you’re moving and moving hard to get your heart rate up. In the end, it’s a great way to mix up workouts, cross train, and keep things interesting.

What You Need: No equipment is required for this exercise. However, if you are uncomfortable or don’t know how to swim, a life jacket or flotation device is always recommended. Flotation devices such as skateboards, floats, and small inner tubes can be used for handholding or body support.

You’ll need a towel to dry yourself off, a shower cap if you don’t want to get your hair wet, and a suitable bathing suit. Also keep a bottle of water handy to quench your thirst.

Additional items such as swimming goggles and masks are optional based on your swimming preferences.

The Workout: Jump (please don’t jump in shallow water!) and acclimatize to the temperature for a few minutes if necessary.

Warm-up – Water Walk – 1 minute, Water Jog – 2 minutes

*15 – 30 seconds rest between movements depending on your recovery time. If the time is too long for any of the moves, do your best for as long as you see fit.

HIIT – This high-intensity interval training means you have to work as hard as you can during each movement to get your heart rate up.

route 1
High Knees – 1 Minute
butt kicks – 1 minute
Tuck Jumps – 1 Minute
Jumping Jacks – 1 minute
Water walk: 1 minute (break time: drink water if you need it)
*Repeat the circuit 2 times.

Route 2
Random right back – 30 seconds
Random left back – 30 seconds
Stepping only legs in water: 1 minute (if you don’t know how to step on water, substitute squat jumps)
Chest Flys – 1 Minute (arms underwater – perform the Chest Fly exercise using only the resistance of the water)
Water walk: 1 minute (break time: drink water if you need it)
*Repeat the circuit 2 times.

route 3
Squats (as fast as you can) – 1 Minute
Water race – 1 minute
Water Walking Lunges – 1 minute
High Knee Water Jump – 1 minute
Water Walk – 1 Minute (break time – drink water if you need it)
*Repeat the circuit 2 times.

Warm-up: water jog – 2 minutes, water walk – 2 to 5 minutes, depending on how long it takes for your heart rate to drop.

Be sure to consult a doctor before beginning any new fitness program.

Cheap Flower Delivery: The Growing Trend Of Buying Wholesale Flowers Online For A Wedding

If you want to send cheap flowers, you should look for a complete flower seller online!

More brides and grooms are shopping online for their flower arrangements for that special day. Buying wholesale flowers online is a convenient way to stretch the bride’s budget and still end up with top-quality roses, tulips, and water lilies for that special day.

Choosing whether to do it yourself or hire a retail florist to design and deliver all your ceremony and party arrangements requires careful planning. The costs associated with floral accompaniments for even a small wedding of less than fifty guests can quickly escalate into the five-figure range at the retail level.

Those who skip the retail flower shop don’t necessarily need to have an artistic talent. Many online vendors can ship medium and large bouquets just as easily as they ship bulk stems. Rose petals, handmade bouquets and centerpieces are available for shipping fully finished and ready to hang.

Tens of thousands of couples have already purchased all the flora and fauna for their nuptials at less than retail price. The increasing availability of farm-to-home flower shipments can be bad news for your local florist. But it’s great news for the budget-conscious couple looking to add a touch of elegance and tradition to their own ceremony and reception.

In recent decades, wedding planners have become less of a luxury reserved for the wealthy and more mainstream. Even a bride and groom of average means can spend up to twenty thousand, fifty thousand or more for the decorations associated with that special day in their new life together.

Whether a wedding planner has been hired or not, the bride and groom still get to choose how their wedding money will be spent. For less expensive affairs, planners may be asked to add queries to the event and not necessarily deliver every little detail.

Thrifty newlyweds-to-be may choose to save their own—or their parents’ hard-earned money—for something more substantial, like a down payment on their first home. Finding ways to cut costs and still produce a wedding they will enjoy and remember for the rest of their lives is challenging.

The growing trend of buying wholesale flowers for a wedding is a way to cut budgets and still enjoy the luxury of fresh flora shipped from all over the world. Some online vendors offer up to several thousand flower varieties to choose from, plus the necessary floral vases and brooches for DIYers who want to add elegance and fragrance to the festivities associated with their special day.

Six Basic Steps to Eliminate Cat Behavior Problems

Do you sometimes feel that your cat has become mean and not the sweet and loving kitty that he used to be? Sometimes when kittens get older they can be moody and mean at their worst. But even for the most annoying cat behavior problems, there is usually still a remedy for the behavior.

Below are six of the most common behavior problems found in cats and some of the solutions I’d like to share with you that seem to work best for my pets.

1. Scratching your furniture and carpets. It is natural for cats to need to sharpen their claws. Their claws never stop growing, and what they are really doing when they sharpen their claws is removing the outer layer of the claw. In most cases, I have found that people simply declaw a cat that has this type of problem. Personally, I don’t advocate this at all. In my opinion, there is always the possibility that even an indoor cat may one day end up outside by accident. And in that case, if you declaw your cat, you may be taking away his main form of defense.

Perhaps before declawing your cat, why not try getting a scratching post? If you can’t get your cat to use the scratching post, one solution I’ve found is to try hanging a dirty sock on the post. Wear a dirty sock belonging to someone in the family your cat is fond of so it smells familiar (you can take it off after a day or so). You can also sprinkle catnip on the scratching post or, this is rare but works, powdered chicken broth. The idea is to get the cat friendly enough to scratch the post and attack it.

In the meantime, make your cat’s favorite scratching areas less attractive. For example, spray fresh lemon juice on those areas. Or you can wrap or cover them with foil (nails on the board anyone?). Do whatever will clean up that area and get rid of the cat smell. If possible, another option would be to close the doors in that area so that those places are inaccessible to the cat.

2. Eliminating outside of the litter box. Could it be your fault or the cat? I have found that many cats do not use a litter box that is too dirty. If you think this might be the problem, start changing the litter box twice as often as you currently do. You can also be quick to clean up anywhere the cat goes by spraying these areas well with Lysol or a similar strong-smelling disinfectant. You can also try putting the litter box in a place that is more attractive to the cat; the bathroom, for example. If it’s not in an overly unpleasant spot, you can also put the litter box on top of where your cat has chosen to go, just to make the point. As a last resort, safely place bleach in those spots and cover the area with aluminum foil.

3. Scratching people. I have found that cats usually do this because they are afraid for some reason. If that’s the case, then you need to consider whether this is the cat’s fault or the people around it. For example, if you have a cat who is generally afraid of children, then you might try exposing him to small children until he is calmer about it. Don’t let the child get lost around the cat. Have the child sit on his lap or next to you while he feeds Kitty treats.

Not all cats are afraid. In some cases, they are just mean to certain people. The only thing you can do about it is remove the cat from the situation. When the cat starts to scratch or growl, pick him up and take him to the bathroom until your guest has left. In most cases, it is usually a guest that this happens to, often one that has pets. If it’s a family member, try cat repellent or lemon juice to keep the cat away, then acclimatize it to get used to the other person. If all else fails, you may have no choice but to declaw the cat.

4. Meows. Siamese cats do this by nature and you may not be able to get them to stop. But other cats do it because they are hungry, tired, sick or to let you know that they have done something good. Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do about it. If you think it’s a matter of hunger, then feed him more quickly and refuse to feed him when he meows. Of course, your cat won’t understand what you’re doing, but he’ll almost certainly stop when he realizes it’s not doing him any good. If he meows because he’s in heat, you have to fix her. For other meowing problems, try to ignore her and keep her as far away from you as possible.

5. Spraying. Normally, male cats do this to mark a territory, and they usually do it when they feel threatened. In most cases, it is done when threatened by dogs or small children, or when other male cats are nearby. There is little you can do about it beyond neutering your cat. Please don’t punish your cat for doing this because the cat won’t understand anything.

6. Running outdoors. Indoor cats tend to be very curious about the outside world. The first thing you should do is be more careful and not have the door open allowing your cat to escape. But you can also try to get your cat used to the outdoors by getting a cat leash and walking it, or carrying it in your arms when you go outside. Once your cat knows what’s outside, chances are he’ll be less curious and less anxious the next time he’s outside. And this is particularly true if you must ever expose your cat to snow or wet conditions.

What bit me last night in my Costa Rican rental

“This is my first trip to Costa Rica and they ate me alive.” How many times have I heard this statement? There may be more species of insects in Costa Rica than anywhere on the planet, but they aren’t much of a problem for those who live here over time. You might see a “gringo” who has just arrived covered in bites, but you rarely see an tico (Costa Rican) with bites. Even a gringo who lives here seems a lot less bitten over time. Perhaps it is onion and garlic that is found in most dishes.

Anyway, “something bit me last night?” I will mention the most common teethers that cause itchiness. These are the little black ants that are about 1/2 centimeter long, the big mosquitoes and especially the little ones, and the no-see-ums.

The little black ants are everywhere, on the walls, the plants, on the lot you may be looking to buy. Caveat! Never stand in the same place in a lot or on a driveway. When you look down, you can see a swarm of ants crawling on your feet. Suddenly you panic, you try to sweep them away and too late, they all seem to bite you at the same time. Sometimes spraying with a water hose will get them out quicker, but don’t expect some to bite you. Same with your hands: touch a plant and you can expect to find your hands harboring some ants. Now if they do bite, try not to scratch or the itch will drive you crazy. I have sometimes found that applying a bit of red soil near where the ant bit you took the itch away immediately. You may need to moisten the soil to apply it. A veterinary cream called Panalog can also eliminate itching. Otherwise, it will itch, you will feel the need to scratch until the itching stops, and then the itching will return hours later. This scenario can occur over several days.

There are a number of other biting ants. One is very small, yellowish, and appears almost transparent. I think it’s from the fire ant family. It feels like a pin point that keeps burning/itching for an hour or so. This is the ant that Ticos like to avoid the most. Another ant is the leafcutter ant. Don’t let these bite you. They will draw blood and hold on with a strong death grip. This is a female to be careful of. All the males that mated with the queen are dead. Finally, it is said that army ants bite. It’s best to stay out of their way and let them clean up dead bugs and ant eggs. Costa Rica has many species of ants; I am only highlighting the most common teethers.

Next on my list are rots, no-see-ums, or sand fleas. These little ones are found along beaches, coastal roads, or near mangroves. They like to come out at dusk and can stay all night until the heat of the days chases them to hide. Once you are in an area with no visibility, you can be mercilessly bitten. Plan to itch for about three days. Sulfur powder sprinkled on clothing or ankles helps deter these invisibles from biting. Also, if you know you are going to a seaside hotel or restaurant, always wear long pants and long sleeves. Again panalog can determine them or stop the itch once they bite you.

Last on my list are mosquitoes: the very small and aggressive ones called Sancudos, normal mosquitoes, and those that transmit diseases like malaria and dengue. However, because Costa Rica has a fairly well-balanced ecosystem that is not totally spoiled by chemicals, bats, snakes, frogs, praying mantises, and birds do a remarkable job of containing mosquito populations. For example, a small bat can catch and eat 600 mosquitoes per hour. Yes! Once again, garlic may be the reason Ticos and those who live here over time are rarely minced.

Whether you’re renting, house-sitting, or just visiting, there are several remedies that help with itching or prevent bites in the first place. To prevent in the first place, keep the lights off as much as possible, spray your clothes with sulfur or pyrethrum powder, or avoid restaurants or hotels near the beach. Find a rental in Costa Rica away from the beach. Other solutions include applying cedar oil, rubbing alcohol, rosemary oil, Mexican vanilla, citronella oil, Avon’s “Oh So Sweet,” and cactus juice lotion.

You’ve been bitten and now you want to stop the itching. With your fingernail, make a line across the bite and cross that line with another line that intersects the first. If that doesn’t succeed, add more lines creating a lattice pattern. Solutions that might help include: rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, aloe vera gel, lemon juice, lavender oil, a baking soda paste, or sticky toothpaste.

AFC East 2007 Progress and Projections

Eastern Division:

1) New England: We correctly picked the Patriots to capture the crown in the much weaker AFC East last year, heck, one even bettered our projected regular-season finish last year by going 12-4 and with some breaks. he ended up making it to the AFC Championship game only to be thrown out by eventual SB winner Peyton Manning and co.

The Patriots needed to improve their WR corps and they did so by adding Randy Moss, Donte’ Stallworth and Wes Welker to their roster via free agency, which should bolster what was a really weak area last year, however. , with Corey Dillon as new. England need to find a backup RB for Laurence Maroney, who enters this season fresh from shoulder surgery.

Defensively, the Pats added Pro Bowl linebacker Adalius Thomas to their roster, which should help a defensive defense that allowed 114.3 yards per game on average last season, however, the threat of CB Asante Samuel and injury from DB Chad Scott to an already suspect defensive secondary could very well prove to be Pats’ Achilles heel. Projected record: 11-5

**Look to play AGAINST the Patriots on October 1st when they visit Cincy for an MNF meet, a look in the old history book reveals that the Ben Gals have gone 7-1-1 ATS against the Pats for the last 9 Times they have met and that includes covering 5 of their last 6 at home against the visiting Patriots, and by the way, this is payback for the Ben Gals who lost at home last year to New England in the embarrassing Finals. score 13-38 as 6-point home favorites, Cincy has a bye after this matter and must be extremely focused.

2) NY Jets: HC Eric Mangini did wonders for the flyboys last year somewhat, managing to win 10 games despite having a 25th-ranked offense and 20th-ranked defense in the league, the main reason for success it was due to his team being able to stay relatively healthy and that includes having injury-prone QB Chad Pennington on the field all season.

Longtime and future Hall of Famer Curtis Martin decided to hang up his shoes for good, prompting the Jets to fill the vacancy with Thomas Jones. HC Mangini knows full well that his team was very lucky to win 10 games last year and chose to bolster the defense during the offseason with the additions of David Bowens, Kenyon Coleman, Michael Haynes and Andre Wadsworth. all four have the ability to play defensive end or outside linebacker positions meaning Mangini could be planning to attack opposing quarterbacks more often this season by installing more blitz packages this is something to watch keep in mind during the preseason. Projected record: 8-8

** Look to play AGAINST the Jets in their season opener at home against the visiting Patriots, a review back in time reveals that the Jets have failed to cover their last 8 straight home games against New England, in fact the host in this divisional rivalry has failed to cap the number 14 spot of the last 16 times ATS against the visitor!

3) Miami – These phins are seemingly in complete shambles, HC Nick Saban was brought in to right the ship, but after posting a combined 15-17 mark during his two-year stint, he returned to the college ranks to coach the Crimson tide. Alabama Taking over the helm will be Cam Cameron, who was the offensive coordinator in San Diego.

Cameron has more than his fair share of issues going into this season. At the top of the list is an aging Trent Green under center who will hand the ball over to Ronnie Brown, this poses a problem because both players have been injury prone the past two seasons and must rely on a makeshift offensive line. that will be a work in progress.

Miami’s defense has some star power with players like Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Joey Porter, Keith Traylor and Vonnie Holliday, but in truth, each of these players is on the downside of their careers and believes they will bounce back as that the season progresses because the offense will not be able to give them any reprieve. Projected record: 6-10

**Look to play IN the Dolphins in their home opener against Dallas on 9/16/07, the phins will likely settle in as a local doggie or little favorite and that suits us because there is a lot of talent and pride in this phin team will play well in their home opener and Dallas will come to town in potential “disappointed” mode after playing their season opener at home against divisional rival G-men and having an on-deck date against the Bears who were the NFC Super Bowl representative last year, can you say “sandwich game”?

4) Buffalo: The Bills are now in full rebuild mode and especially on the defensive side of the ball after losing LB Takeo Spikes (Eagles), London Fletcher (Redskins) and CB Nate Clements (49ers) and now have to rely on youngsters like rookie linebacker Paul Posluszny (Penn State), second-year safeties Donte Whitner and Ko Simpson, and LBs Angelo Crowell and Keith Ellison.

On offense, Buffalo will look to first-round draft pick Marshawn Lynch (Cal) to fill the vacancy left by Willis McGahee at running back, now wearing Raven purple. The Bills’ offensive line needs a lot of work and will try to find consistency with the additions of guard Derrick Dockery (Redskins) and tackle Langston Walker (Raiders). Quarterback JP Losman has shown flashes of brilliance, but if Buffalo wants him to improve his career (four-year) QB rating of 77.4 with a 27-to-23 TD to INT ratio, they’ll need to find him a big enough receiver for him. good to align it. opposite Lee Evans and revamping a line that allowed 47 sacks last year. Projected record: 4-12

**Look to play IN Buffalo on September 16 when the Bills travel to Pittsburgh, with the public in mind we should get exceptional line value on this one because the Steelers will just rip Cleveland apart in their season opener and Denver will likely have he did the same with Buffalo. The Bills performed well as a pup last year covering 7 of 10 ATS in this role and that includes covering New England and Miami last year to start the season receiving +9.5 and +6.5 respectively, it’s also good to know that according to According to the old history book, Buffalo has covered an incredible 14 of its last 16 ATS games during week 2 of a new season.

Life is living, trying and living

An attempt can be classified as an individual attempt to defend their own principles and thoughts; it can be a good try and even a bad try. No matter the outcome, the power to act with an intent is what counts at the end of the day. In life, you will see several strong-complexioned people who fail to climb even the first rung of obstacles. You may also come across skinny people who face all the odds and challenge them with their true power. If the strength of the body is not the reason for a try, what can be the possible reason for an individual to make a try?

We all have dreams. All dreams can be made possible. A dream that is not possible is nothing more than a mere waste of life, which occurred as a result of one’s own illusions and overestimation of one’s abilities. It makes no sense to criticize or praise fate for the bad and good moments of your life. If you are strong in your will power and possess the enthusiasm to come out stronger, you will try. On the other hand, if you are made of sand, the heavy rains from the ocean waves will tear you apart.

Unless you can dream and turn those dreams into realities of life, there is no use living in the dark shadows of life. If you can’t think beyond your comfort zone, you will never succeed in your life. It is useless to promote dreams for this sector of people. However, these people can also change their lives, but that requires some concrete efforts. They need to prioritize things, work on their dreams by getting out of their comfort zones. Always remember that none of us are born with pre-embedded qualities, we all learn on this Earth and no one as an individual is an exception.

Learn to fulfill your dreams; Don’t go blindly for unreal dreams. Start working, it doesn’t matter if you run at a snail’s pace in the initial stages and then start walking like a human being.

Are some of Silicon Valley’s high-tech companies getting too big?

Many people have looked at companies like Google and believe that it is getting too big, that it is too well integrated both vertically and horizontally, and that it is overstepping the bounds of antitrust laws in the US. In fact, it has already attracted attention. from regulators on more than one occasion, and you have to wonder when is enough; enough? Should Google be dissolved and challenged by the Federal Trade Commission, as Microsoft was?

Obviously, there are a lot of politics involved, and Google has done very well in lobbying Congress so that it can avoid such regulation in Washington DC, but it’s not alone in this problem. Consider whether you’ll use Facebook or Apple, or what about Amazon, a recent Wall Street Journal article suggests: They, too, are in uncharted territory, and this surprises people—people who understand antitrust laws in the world, that is. the United States and how they are applied selectively.

There was an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal in November 2010 titled; “In The Claws Of The New Monopolists: Take Down Google? Break Up Facebook? We Can’t Imagine Life Without Them, And That’s The Problem” by Tim Wu. This article was an editorial, but Tim Wu mentions a very good one. Period, and I think I’d like to recommend your book, which is also very good, “The Master Switch: The Rise and Fall of Information Empires.”

And even if we don’t care too much about these particular companies, because they provide a lot of value online, we also need to understand what they’re doing in the market for innovative thought leaders. Because they’re taking all the best talent in Silicon Valley and elsewhere, and they’re making it harder for other companies to compete for that same talent. If you work at a place like Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, or Amazon, you can get a tremendously great salary. It would be hard for other industries to match that or pay you for that kind of talent.

In fact, another interesting set of articles also in the Wall Street Journal really makes you think. First, I would like to recommend that you read an article by Martin Peers, also published in November 2010 entitled; “Searching Google for Pay” and “Google Battles to Keep Talent” by Amir Efrati and Pui-Wing Tam. Both are significant points of contention, and they speak to the overall size of these companies, and the challenges they face in the marketplace, and how that affects the rest of the innovative companies out there.

In fact, I hope you’ll consider this and if you have any other ideas on these types of topics, please email me, because I like to discuss it with you. Think about it.
