When to let your home boys go
Growing up, you always had your boys from home. Your friends usually had more influence on you than your parents. As we grew up, the ties became closer and you thought you had friends for life. However, as you get older, you begin to understand that friendships themselves are probably not worth entertaining. The reason for this is that you now have responsibilities such as bills, work, perhaps children, and perhaps a wife or girlfriend.
It is difficult to introduce male friendships in the life of a grown man and most of the time it is not even worth trying. Some of our stay at home kids grow up to be bums and time wasters. Despite the connection you may have, sometimes you have to let your friends not go back to their level. Here are 5 signs you need to cut a friendship
1. Your kids at home don’t appreciate your time. If they’re falling apart too much on plans or not keeping their word, you should let it slide. Just because you guys are friends, there should still be respect. If they don’t value your time, you should let them.
2. Always asking you for things. At this point they no longer see you as a friend and now they see you as a support system. Because they all grew up together, you are expected to give them things. Get away from this ASAP.
3. If all of you are over 25 years old and do not earn money together. This one came from rapper Styles P. He said if you don’t get money after 25 with your guys from home, leave them. Life is capitalism in this country. Time is too precious not to have some kind of plans before you’re 30.
4. They are always picking on your girls. Leave these scavenger guys ASAP. This leads to problems.
5. They fall below your tax bracket. If you’ve become super successful without the help of the guys at home, chances are you need to remove yourself from the situation. A lot of hate and backstabbing comes out of this situation. Example: How many soccer players has the boy in the house allowed to empty his bank accounts? You always want to be surrounded by people BETTER than you so you can push yourself at their level. You are who you hang out with. If someone below your status level wants to hang out and learn from you, CHARGE THEM $!
