Swinger lifestyle tips for exercising

Exercising on a swinger lifestyle date

A swinger lifestyle date can consist of a single man or woman meeting a partner. In this situation, couples often start touching each other as a signal to the single that they are okay to start a sexual relationship with him or her. The single needs to respond positively but with a degree of caution, being careful to look for other confirmatory signs. In cases where the couple does not take the initiative in such an obvious way, the single person will need to orient the date towards sex and be careful to allow the meeting to become a purely social encounter.

In dating meetings, swinger dates will depend a lot on the personalities of the two couples. When both partners are shy or a little nervous first time swingers, the opportunity to exercise can be completely lost. When this happens, both couples are likely to return home disappointed and never try to meet again.

When one or both couples are seasoned swingers or have more outgoing personalities, the date will likely proceed in the same way as the single date with a partner described above; with one of the couples making things work by touching.

Choice of appointment

In each of the above swinger lifestyle scenarios, the choice of the encounter has a great influence on the amount of stroking that will take place and how intimate it is likely to be. A meeting in a restaurant, for example, will clearly offer few opportunities for intimate contact compared to a date that takes place at the home of one or the other couple.

Swinger Party Touching Tag

Swinger parties provide an environment where the opportunity to touch each other sexually in public has little to no limits. But that does not mean that they are sexually free for everyone. Swingers who attend sex parties must still observe a certain etiquette when moving from the social stage to the foreplay stage and even during the sex play stage itself. How things proceed and how quickly they proceed can be influenced by the number and combinations of people involved. This could be quite different for a single man with a group of partners than for a couple with a single woman. It is likely to be different again between two or three couples than for a mixed singles group.

Careful observation, listening, and response

The most important requirements for knowing when to start playing are observation, listening, and response. By developing good listening and observation skills, you won’t even have to worry about initiating physical contact, as this will get the other person to touch you first.

It is vital that you understand and accept that swingers have a ‘Doesn’t mean no’ rule. This applies to all physical contact and must be respected in all encounters, even those occurring in the most active stage of the procedure. Never assume that other people are happy to be touched intimately just because they attend sex parties and participate in a swinger lifestyle. The simple fact is; swingers are no different from everyone else. They choose who they want to be intimate with. Always check that it is okay to move to the next level.

With many swingers there may also be an additional set of conditions that must be determined and adhered to. These are the special conditions that the pair have agreed to with each other about what is okay and what is taboo in their swing. For example, some couples will have agreed to go so far as to have oral sex outside of their own partner. Others may have a rule about having sex in the same room only with their own partner.

How to give your girlfriend or wife an amazing massage

This Valentine’s Day, give a special touch to everything you have planned by ending the evening with a super fabulous massage just for her. This selfless act is not only a super romantic way to make her feel special and show her how much you care, but it also gives her a chance to relax and be pampered by you. So get ready to rock her world with a sexy and sensual massage that she will hopefully never forget!

Getting ready:

Step 1: choose the space

So before you get to the part where you are almost (or completely) naked and covered in oil, make sure you have everything well thought out. It is important to create a comfortable space free from distractions (ie cell phones turned off!) Where you can set the mood for a romantic massage. The bedroom is probably an ideal place for most, but creating a smooth surface on the floor works great too. If you are using the bed, make sure it is well prepared by using clean sheets (which is fine for her to put on oil as it can stain) or even covering the bed with towels. Presentation is important here, so make sure it looks good, and whatever you do, no sticky beach towels! If you’re desperate, check the dollar store for some white or neutral-colored towels or sheets that won’t push you too far back. Staining your 600 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding with massage oil is not romantic!

Step 2: Set the mood

Now that you have chosen the space, it is important to make sure you have all the massage items that are essential to setting the mood and creating the right atmosphere. It is up to you how far you want to take it, but things like scented candles (avoiding anything too scented or strong), rose petals, and soothing music are great ways to create a relaxing atmosphere and make it romantic.

Step 3: get the products

Having a good massage oil on hand is essential to achieve a relaxing experience for both of you. Avoid anything with too strong a scent and look for specific massage products as they provide the most pleasant texture and don’t absorb too quickly (reapplying every minute ruins the flow). If you are looking for an alternative to massage oils, there are also massage bars that melt on contact with the skin, as well as massage candles that work like hot oil when poured onto the skin. Although they provide the most pleasant experience, you don’t necessarily need fancy massage products to get the job done. If necessary, you can use a rich body butter, baby oil or sunflower oil, adding a few drops of an essential oil to give it fragrance. Olive oil is absolutely impossible! Smelling like Greek salad is not a good way to put her in the mood. Also avoid lubricant. Sure, it works, but it’s also suggestive and a bit rough. Let’s keep the class.

Techniques application:

Step 4: Give the massage

Now, the most important part; giving an incredible massage. Once you are lying down, put a pillow under your feet to make it more comfortable. Gently put some massage oil on your hands and rub them together. This heats up the oil and is better than pouring it directly onto your skin, which may be cold and a little shaken. Avoid using too much oil, which will make the massage slippery and difficult (you can always add more). Slow and continuous movement is important for a good massage. Allow one blow to develop into another, while slowly moving to other areas of your body. Start with her neck and shoulders, using your thumbs and fingertips to gently knead her skin. Put less pressure on your neck, as this area is often very tender to the touch. Gradually move in a circular motion from your upper back, to your sides, and then to your lower back. Apply additional oil as needed and continue down both legs (focusing on one leg at a time), until you reach your feet. Massage the soles of your feet in constant circular motions with your thumbs, applying a little more pressure to avoid tickling.

Step 5: Know the pleasure points

Pay attention to areas of your body that are not stimulated frequently. Try stroking erogenous zones like the backs of the knees, ears, nape, and wrists. Make sure you don’t forget to massage your scalp, as this area is often overlooked during a massage. Just make sure your hands are oil-free if you get close to her hair, or that nice idea may not be as welcome for her.

Step 6: Get their feedback

Communication is the key to an incredible massage. Always pay attention to her body language and how she responds to different strokes, the level of pressure, and where you are massaging her. If you are not sure, ask politely what feels good and if the pressure is right. Spend more time on the areas to which you respond positively with verbal cues or physical cues of enjoyment.

Other considerations:

Keep distractions to a minimum. This experience should consist of the two of you connecting and enjoying your time together, so cell phones, televisions, and any other potential distractions should be eliminated.

Avoid the rush and reserve enough time. To give a massage correctly, you must dedicate at least 20 to 30 minutes. The slower and longer you can massage it, the more relaxing and sensual the experience will be.

Raise the heat, literally. It’s no fun being exposed and covered in oil when it’s freezing. By keeping the temperature above 75 degrees F, you will ensure that you stay warm and comfortable so that you can enjoy the experience.

Be gentle. Go easy, Hulk. It is important to remember that the level of pressure that she might prefer is probably not the one that feels best for her. She is delicate and women are much more sensitive to touch than men, so take the pressure off. Unless she requests otherwise, soft, smooth strokes are generally preferred.

Don’t forget the extras. This all depends on your relationship level, personal preferences, and your imagination. Incorporating other elements can eventually take a sensual massage into naughtier territory and be a perfect way to spice it up a bit. Items like feather tickling, hot lube, eye bandages, and edible body paints are great ways to add some sexy fun.

Top 10 Questions About Ferret Kits

Baby ferrets, or puppies, as they are also called, are charming little creatures that have a strong personality and lots of energy. As such, many people who want to buy a ferret think about starting over with a baby ferret. However, many are confused about what it means to take care of a baby. Here are the answers to the 10 most common questions about baby ferrets.

1. Is a kit suitable for me?

This mainly depends on your available time. It is true that kits are more active and much more playful than adult ferrets, so they require much more time and attention, but give them the love they need and you will be able to watch them grow and enjoy them full of energy for years to come. . Keep in mind that you must train and socialize the little one; in effect, you will be his older (human) brother, teaching him to distinguish good from evil.

The problem is even more complicated if you already have young children at home. Human children and ferret children are not a good combination, as not only will you find it difficult to spend time with both, but children can often be quite cruel to small animals even without realizing it, and the kits have the bad habit of pinching. As such, there is the potential for conflict and injury. So before making the decision, think about whether or not you can give the kit all the time and attention it needs, without affecting your job or your children.

2. How much does a kit cost?

This depends from country to country and whether you buy it from a pet store, breeder, or shelter. In the US, you should be prepared to pay between $ 75- $ 300. Shelters are the cheapest, but you will usually only find adult ferrets there. Pet stores are in second place, while breeders are the most expensive.

3. When can I neuter / descend my baby ferret?

If you want to neuter and / or lower them, wait until they enter the seventh week of their life.

4. What should I feed my baby ferret?

Unless you have raised him since he was born, a kit must be weaned from his old diet. To make life easier for you, when shopping for your new pet, ask the breeder or pet store clerk what kind of food they have been feeding you and, if they have given you special food, what brand it was. If you decide to change your diet, don’t do it abruptly, but slowly and gradually introduce the new food into your diet.

While adults will do fine eating cat food, ferret food is recommended for babies because they need higher quality protein in their diet and cat food just doesn’t have that. One tip to remember is to soak your food in warm water for a few minutes, regardless of whether you are changing your diet or not. Make sure the food is 35 percent or more protein and 20 percent fat, and look for balanced fats, such as poultry fat, because it contains a better mix of essential fatty acids, essential for your little ferret. Also make sure you have plenty of water all the time and change the water twice a day. Never leave your baby without water! Dehydration can cause serious health problems.

5. Is it safe for my children to play with a kit?

For the sake of your young ferret and your children, it’s probably a good idea to keep them apart as much as possible, or at least keep them under supervision while they play with each other. The problem is both ways: children can easily hurt a baby ferret while playing with it, and the latter has a bad (albeit cute) habit of being agile. Biting is not a habit to encourage in your ferret, especially when you have young children around.

6. How should I configure the cage for my kit?

You should prepare a large cage for them and make sure they have enough space to move and play. Try to avoid metal cages as they are prone to rust. If you buy a cage made of plastic-coated wires, make sure your furry doesn’t chew on the wires. The cage should also have plenty of places for the kit to sleep and hide. Accessories like hammocks and sleeping bags are highly appreciated by babies, but make sure they don’t hurt themselves when using them. For bedding you can use any type of soft padding.

7. Do baby ferrets need vaccinations?

Depending on their age, little ferrets generally need up to five vaccinations. If you bought it from a reputable source, you probably already had your first shit (called a distemper shot), so you don’t have to worry about that. Make sure the ferret you buy has a health certificate, so you can see what vaccinations it already had and take it to the vet to schedule future vaccinations.

8. How many babies can a mother ferret have?

Normally, a mother will give birth to 7 or 8 young.

9. My ferret has just given birth, but her young appear blind. This is normal?

Don’t worry, this is completely normal. Like many other animals, ferrets are practically blind at birth. Only later, after about three weeks, do they begin to open their eyes.

10. When can baby ferrets leave their mother?

They are ready to leave their mother after six weeks. This is when you should step in and take on the role of ferret parent. Remember to take them to the vet when they are seven weeks old.

Trends in the United States Real Estate Market

Median home prices reached $ 506,000 in Los Angeles County in March 2006, breaking the half-million-dollar mark for the first time in history. That figure is double the area’s median price just four years ago.

The good news for prospective home buyers in other areas of the country is that half a million dollars can still buy a good chunk of housing in much of the rest of the United States. For example, even though central Oregon is experiencing significant increases in both population and home prices, the median price is lower than Los Angeles County, yet still higher than a significant number from other areas of the country. For example, the median home price in Bend increased more than 30% in 2005, to $ 327,500. Another central Oregon city, Madras, saw an 187% increase in the number of home sales in the first quarter of 2006.

The main force driving the home price boom in Oregon, as well as the Southwest and Pacific Northwest states, is the influx of Californians selling their more expensive homes and moving to areas where they can typically buy more. houses for less money. Another factor is that with rising values, many local homeowners are capitalizing on the equity in their homes and trading for more expensive ones.

Another area that is growing significantly is San Antonio, Texas, where the median home price increased more than 9% over the past year to $ 131,900. However, the San Antonio real estate market mirrored that of Los Angeles County, with few sales, even though prices were higher overall. There is also a considerable amount of new home construction in that area.

Some areas of California are booming as a result of skyrocketing prices in Southern California. One of the busiest is the area that includes Riverside, Ontario and San Bernardino, which has seen an unprecedented increase in new residents between 2000 and 2004, an estimated 46,000 of whom were transplants from the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

In the southeastern United States, Florida also continues to grow at a rapid pace, driven in large part by the influx of former residents of the New York City metropolitan area. In fact, an estimated 41,500 people moved from that area to Orlando, Miami and Tampa in 2004. One of the reasons the area is experiencing such rapid growth is job opportunities. The area’s work scene was once dominated by Disney World, but that’s no longer the case.

Calculating up to the last seven years of tribulation

All Biblical references taken from the original King James Version of the Bible

As I calculate the seven years of tribulation, I will be working with the Jewish / Babylonian / lunar calendar. I note here that I will also use Hebrew / Greek words in my calculations because they are critical for the reader to understand how we got to the seven-year tribulation of Daniel’s prophecy, which has yet to come. (“H7620 .. shabuwa` shabua` shebu`ah .. Properly passive participle of H7650 as a denominative of H7651; literally cut off, that is, a week (specifically of years): – seven, week.”), Found in Strong’s Module match in e-Sword.

NOTE: “SHABUWA / Weeks of Years” and “SHABUA / Week of Years” are ALWAYS counted in SEVEN, (ie 7 days, weeks, months, years). Please don’t lose the site of that fact or none of this will make sense. Is that how it works:

READ: DANIEL 9: 24-26

7 (weeks of years / “shabuwa”) x 7 = 49 years

“Threescore” (60 prophetic weeks, 7 years each), + (2 weeks of 7 years each), calculators like this:

60 x 7 + 2 (two weeks of seven years each are 14 years) = 434 prophetic years

Then we add the first (49) years, and this is what it looks like

60 x 7 + 14 (weeks of years) + 49 = 483 prophetic years, or (69 weeks / meaning of “shabuwa”, 7 years each), which have already been completed in biblical times.

*** REMEMBER, (70 PROPHETIC WEEKS), they were determined about the holy city and its people. By my calculations, we are seven (7 prophetic years, or a “shabua” week) missing from Daniel’s prophecy. So where are the remaining seven years, you might ask … well, I’ll calculate them now …

70 x 7 weeks of years = a total of (490) prophetic years. WAIT, there is more to calculate …

Let me stop for a moment to note that FROM, the initial decree to rebuild Jerusalem, (beginning in 444 BC in the month of Nisan – March / April). TO, the FIRST coming of Christ, riding into the rebuilt Holy City of Jerusalem, on a donkey, took, (483 or 69 Babylonian / Jewish years), after which Jesus was “cut off” or crucified, just a few days after your departure. Jerusalem. We still have seven, (7) weeks of years left, so let’s find out what’s going on with that … Notice that in the Jewish / Babylonian calendar, there were always two months together.

Still working from the Babylonian / Jewish / lunar calendar

483 prophetic years, (from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until the first coming of Christ)

490 Jewish years to fulfill Daniel’s prophecy (70 weeks of years / “shabuwa”)

490 minus 483 = 7 (YOU HAVE SEVEN YEARS TO GO)

After running the numbers, I have shown you that there are seven, (7) years left until Daniel’s prophecy (490 years) is fulfilled, which was given to him in a vision, delivered by Gabriel. Now, let’s notice that there is a reason why these last seven years, (of Tribulation or Time of Trouble), have not yet materialized, it is because, since Jesus was crucified on the cross, (which marked the beginning of a period, or Dispensation of Grace, sometimes called GAP), we have been living in the period of GAP or Grace.

However, the Grace / Breach period will end and the last Seven, (7) TRIBULATION Years will have officially begun, when the Antichrist (the first beast or prince, along with his companion, the False Prophet, the second beast), enters. on stage and makes a one week prophetic / Shabua agreement / pact with Israeli Jews). This clearly DISASSEMBLES the myth that there is no such thing as the Seven Year Tribulation. The Bible may not specifically dot each (i) and cross each (T) with the exact wording, however all one needs to do is CALCULATE!

REMOVABLE MYTHS

MYTH ONE: THERE IS NO Seven (7) Year Tribulation – My calculations in this article, (I believe), have proven that statement to be totally FALSE

MYTH TWO: That Jesus’ death on the cross is what ended or broke the covenant that was made with Israeli Jews … FALSE

NOTE: Let’s take a closer look at the second myth. Jesus’ death on the cross was NOT the reason the covenant with the Jewish people was broken, quite the contrary. The second half of, (DAN. 9:26), clearly states that Jesus did not die on the cross for himself or for the “prince’s people” (note, this prince is spelled with a lowercase p), the Sometimes it is refers to the antichrist (in scripture) as a prince. Also, notice in, (vs. 25), he uses a capital letter (P) when referring to “Messiah” being “cut off” or crucified.

Verse (26) also says that the little prince (p) will come and destroy the “city and the sanctuary,” or Jerusalem and the temple. THAT IS NOT GOD / JESUS. At that moment, God destroyed the earth with a “flood”, DO YOU REMEMBER Noah and the Arch? Verse (27), from Daniel’s vision / prophecy, lets us know that this prince will make a covenant of a week, of seven years, “with many”, that is, the Jewish nation of Israel, I believe it was called Judah in biblical times. .

The prince / Antichrist will break this agreement with the Jews in the “middle of the week”, or half, (7 years divided by 2 = 3 1/2 years), according to, (DAN. 9:27), this is what ended with Jewish sacrifices and prayers in his beloved TEMPLE. OUR God will NEVER make and then break a promise. God does EVERYTHING in an orderly and timely manner.

Do not forget my calculations and the Hebrew word, “SHABUWA” (which means weeks of years, each week = 7 years), which leaves ONLY a prophetic week that has not been fulfilled. This is our lost week / seven years of TRIBULATION, which will end Daniel’s PROPHECY (70 years), after which Jesus will make his TRIUMPHANT SECOND COMING, that’s the GOOD NEWS. Although, the Holy Scripture says CLEARLY, that NO man will know the day or the hour when the Son of Man will come, (READ: Matthew 24: 36-39 … Focus on verses 36 and 37), make no mistake, God is going to come back AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

My spouse does not see anything positive in me

Sometimes I hear of wives who have recently been bitten by something horribly hurtful that their husband has said. Sometimes this happens during an argument or in the heat of the moment. Other times, it seems like your husband is just trying to be honest and has no intention of hurting his wife. Still, whatever the case of the comments, they hurt. And they can make the wife wonder about the future of her marriage.

An example of the type of comment you may hear is something like, “My husband and I have been fighting nonstop due to financial problems. Immediately after my husband lost his job, we kept up pretty well.” But as time has passed and we have become increasingly unable to pay our bills, things have become increasingly heated between us. It seems all we do is fight more. The other night, we were fighting and I got tired. I told my husband that we needed to come together and remember what brought us together. I told him that we had a lot going for us. I told him that he was a quality person and a good guy and that his unemployment did not define who he was. He said there must be something he could remember that first drew him to me. And do you know what his response was? He said ‘I can’t think of anything I like about you.’ At first, I thought that I was not hearing him well or that he had made the wrong words. Then he clarified and said that although he is sure that I have redeeming qualities, they are no longer registered for him because the only thing he notices is my scolding, and my criticisms and my unpleasant comments. This hurts a lot. I will admit that I have said things to you recently that I wish I could retract. But, no matter how angry I am with him, I always know in my heart that he is a good man. I never thought that I am not a good person. But now I get the impression that this is how he feels about me. Where does this leave our marriage? How much longer can I wait? stay with someone you don’t even like? “

I know it must have hurt that way. And I would never tell you not to pay attention to something your spouse says in the heat of the moment. Sometimes these words have some truth. But even if this is true, when your spouse is angry with you, then he will express his statements as strongly as possible. They probably know exactly what is going to hurt you the most, and they might be looking for a high-impact comment. This does not mean that you do not have a legitimate problem that is bothering you. And this deserves your attention. I kind of ignored my husband when he made these kinds of hurtful comments and told myself that he was just venting. This turned out to be very expensive because things escalated to the point where we parted ways, so obviously I should have been paying attention. That being said, I highly doubt that there is absolutely nothing your husband likes about you. That goes against all logic. Would he really marry a woman who had no remarkable or worthy qualities? I doubt that very much. Who would sentence himself to a life of unhappiness with someone who is not a valuable and high quality person?

You are probably basing your words on your frustrations: I think it’s a safer bet that this husband was trying to communicate that he was upset and hurt when his wife made comments that made him feel guilty or embarrassed about losing his job. In his wrong way, he was probably trying to get her attention and give him a wrong plea to stop making him feel worse about this than he already felt. To be fair, the wife probably didn’t even know that her comments were so objectionable to her husband. This could have been the first time she brought it up and she may have been letting it build and unfold until she exploded with her husband throwing out the hurtful comments. And she had already said that she was sorry for what she said.

Suggestions on how to handle this: So how do you handle this? You look at the general message under the words. And the overall message is that this is a husband who is struggling to feel good about himself and his situation. For whatever reason (and if it’s fair, accurate, valid), you feel like your wife was being a little more critical than supportive. So you might wonder if there is any validity to the underlying message. Because there is certainly no validity in the claim that he doesn’t like anything about you. You probably don’t like your current situation very much. And you probably don’t like what this job loss has done to your marriage. But it seems unlikely to me that he doesn’t like you. He might wish it was easier for him to remember those wonderful qualities in any of you when things were better.

If you want to talk to him about this, you could say something like, “I’d really like to think you’re not serious. I know you’re upset and that we’re both struggling. I’ll make a real effort to observe what I’m saying and make sure I understand. I focus on positive support. Maybe then it will be easier for you to remember what you like about me. I like to think that when this happens, you will remember that I am your biggest fan and your most caring supporter. Yes, we have been concerned about our situation financial and this has stressed us both. But somewhere behind all this, those two people who used to work so well together are still there. I think we could meet them again if we work together. I’ll try a little harder, right? It hurts to hear you say that you don’t like me. I am very clear about the fact that you have many wonderful qualities. I would like to think that you could say the same about me. “

I can’t promise that you will suddenly be overwhelmed by apologies, but I suspect this would clear the air and improve things a bit. And honestly, I have a hard time believing that many people would marry someone they don’t like at all. I think it was the strong emotions that influenced the husband’s words.

The Hotel Don Cesar – the Pink Palace

On a recent December visit to the Don Cesar Hotel and Resort, our group met with the resort host and certified concierge, Ronald MacDougall. As a concierge, Mr. MacDougall ensures that each guest has the best experience during their stay at the Don Cesar. In his role as a concierge, he has assisted many of the VIPs who have visited the historic pink hotel on the Gulf of Mexico in St. Petersburg, Florida. Among those guests are Mariah Carry, Carole King, Mick Jagger and Jimmy Buffet, as well as many of the visiting presidents.

Our private tour began in the main bar and lounge, which at this time of year is beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The stately dark wood bar, capes and large leather chairs make this the perfect place to sit back, relax and imagine yourself in another era, the early glory days of the Pink Palace.

The story of the Don Cesar Hotel or Pink Lady, as Thomas Rowe liked to call the hotel, starts from the beginning, like all good stories. It was a vision of Thomas J. Rowe to create a monument to a lost love.

This part of the story begins in London where it is rumored that young Thomas Rowe, while attending college, attended the opera “Maritana” where he fell in love with the female lead, Lucinda, a beautiful Spanish opera singer. performance next to a fountain in London.

Plans were made to elope. The night they were leaving, Lucinda didn’t show up and Rowe waited by the fountain. Her parents found out about the pending marriage and forced Lucinda to return to Spain. Lucinda was reported to have died at a young age, but she sent this letter to Thomas that contained this passage. “Time is infinite, I wait for you next to the fountain to share our eternal love, … our destiny is time.” Well, if it didn’t happen like that, it should have.

Upon returning to the United States, Thomas Rowe built commercial buildings in New York. Later he moved to Norfolk, Virginia, where he met Mary Lucille, the daughter of a wealthy landowner. Thomas married Mary and began the life of a socialite.

At the age of 47 with his health in decline, Thomas Rowe chose to move to a more hospitable climate. Leaving his wife in Virginia, he settled on Florida and, in particular, St. Petersburg, Florida, which was experiencing a real estate boom. Arriving with $ 21,000.00, Rowe began purchasing a property.

Real estate development was all the rage in the early 1920s and Thomas Rowe partnered with another former Norfolk socialite and land developer, Mr. Page. He and Page formed the Boca Ciega Land Company to purchase land.

Mr. Page developed the land on the north side of Johns Pass and the family still lives on Madeira Beach.

Rowe made a small fortune while visiting a secluded stretch of undeveloped beach in the area known as Pass-A-Grille. Pass-A-Grille got its name from the 18th century “grillmen” who dried fish on the white sand beaches. This was a very remote and rugged landscape. Access from the mainland was made by a wooden bridge. On these white sands alongside the gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico, Thomas Rowe envisioned the resort of his dreams. Against the advice of many in his circle, Thomas Rowe bought 80 acres on these shores. Soon a residential subdivision was built and each street was named after a character from the Maritana opera.

In 1926 the construction of his dream resort began. Rowe hired architect Henry DuPont to design the project. One obstacle that had to be overcome was that the huge structure would be sitting on the sand. A floating base was devised and its success is reflected in the fact that the base has not changed in the last 82 years.

Another obstacle was the transportation of construction material. The bridge, as mentioned above, was older and run by an older bridge keeper who wasn’t always trustworthy, opening it when he was in the mood. The construction material was placed on a barge and brought to the site bypassing the bridge.

A railroad strike that year raised construction costs and, after completing the exterior and interior of the complex, Thomas Rowe ran out of money to furnish the hotel. A sponsor was needed to save the company. HP Churchill would provide the money, but he had a stipulation. He would appoint the manager. It was agreed and Don Cesar had his Grand Opening in 1927, with the attendance of some of the richest people in America.

It was luxurious and luxurious in the Grand Lobby. Thomas Rowe had built a replica of the fountain similar to the one in which he, as a student, would meet the beautiful Lucinda. The fountain would be the first thing guests would see after climbing the entrance stairway to the lobby and was the centerpiece of the complex. Modeled after the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki Beach, the Don Cesar Resort was a vision, standing on the sands of Pass-A-Grille. Thomas Rowe liked to call the Pink Lady Hotel.

The main entrance to the complex was on Gulf Blvd. with two statues of lions and a sign that says “Come all who seek health and rest. Because here they abound.” The original staircase is hidden, but it is located where the Ice Cream Shop is now on the first floor.

As luck would have it, the moment had not been worse; the economy entered what became known as the Great Depression. Fortunately for the hotel, a deal was struck with the New York Yankees baseball team to house the players during spring training, helping the resort stay solvent.

Thomas Rowe moved into one of Don Cesar’s two attics. Every day, Rowe sat in a chair in the lobby, talking to visitors and staff, and taking stock of guests. Guests who did not meet a certain standard of dress or manners and spoke were asked to leave the hotel. It was not an era of political correctness.

Then, in 1940, Thomas Rowe collapsed in the lobby. He refused to be taken to the hospital, so he was transferred to adjoining rooms 101 and 102. He remained there until his death. Rowe tried to get his nurses to honor a will, but they refused. This reported that Will would have left Pink Lady in the hands of the staff. It so happened that Thomas Rowe’s wife, Mary, gained control of Don Cesar. The complex went through difficult times. Then in 1941, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, a beach vacation wasn’t all that appealing. People were afraid of the ocean attacks and soon the guests stopped coming. The US government purchased the Don Cesar and converted the complex to use as a convalescence facility for members of the US Army Air Corp. suffering from projectile impacts and war wounds.

One victim of the property transfer was the fountain in the main lobby. The manager of the renovated building was concerned that one of the visitors might trip over the fountain and ordered it removed.

Later, the Don Cesar was used for government offices and was eventually abandoned and fell into disrepair. A movement was started to level and remove the complex. A counter movement led by local resident and activist June Hardy Young began to restore Don Cesar. The subsequent move was successful and a new owner was found for the complex. William Bowman bought the complex and in 1973, the complex was reopened. During the remodel, a replica of the original fountain was placed on the fifth floor.

Our tour included the penthouses, which were unoccupied at the time of our visit, and the Presidential Suite where all the presidents have stayed since 1940. The penthouses have a spectacular view of St. Petersburg, the gulf beaches, and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Of course, if you decide to stay in one of these penthouses, it will cost you around $ 3500.00 per night.

The Don Cesar is a beautiful resort with two pools, a gym, and a new spa. Recently opened, the 11,000-square-foot Oceana Spa is a state-of-the-art spa. Guests can get a massage, enjoy the hot tub and sauna, and then have lunch on the rooftop of the spa building overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

If you go, ask the reservationist if there are any special offers. On our visit, we received a preseason rate and we were very happy with our stay.

The complex is co-owned and operated by the Loews Hotels chain.

The 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen features a 540 x 960 pixel size in which up to 16 million individual colors can be displayed, ensuring superior display quality of on-screen images. The screen is made of Gorilla glass that protects it from daily wear and tear, while proximity and accelerometer sensors are included as standard. Multi-touch input is supported and there is also a touch-sensitive control panel. Another cool feature on the screen is the biometric fingerprint reader that will allow users to simply use their fingerprint instead of entering a password or pin number.

A generous 16GB internal storage is provided along with 1GB of RAM as standard. Additionally, there is a built-in microSD card slot that can accommodate a memory card of up to 32GB, meaning that users can potentially have 48GB of storage capacity at their disposal. This means that Motorola Atrix can easily store a complete collection of digital music along with any number of additional downloaded video clips, documents or applications.

The Motorola Atrix comes with a host of connectivity features, and both GPRS and EDGE are required to keep the phone connected to the appropriate cellular networks. For browsing the Internet, an HSDPA connection provides super fast download speeds of 14.4 Mbps in areas where 3G coverage is available. The Motorola Atrix offers an impressive alternative to mainstream smartphone models and is packed with a host of innovative features, which means it’s a phone that is likely to see a lot more in the coming months.

Shark Tank from ABC – Must See TV

If you haven’t been watching ABC Shark tank, I highly recommend that you start. The show has already run for several seasons and there are plenty of real life lessons for everyone.

The reality show features entrepreneurs presenting their products and business ideas to successful billionaires who are investing their own money in other businesses. These millionaires and billionaires ask tough and penetrating questions; And those questions provide information that the rest of us would not normally see. Ideas alone are worth it.

Learn to present your ideas

Even if you are not an entrepreneur, you can learn to present yourself more effectively. It is not enough to have a great idea. Investors also want to see a great marketing / sales plan. One of the sharks’ favorite questions is, “How many have you sold?” This is often followed by “In what period of time?”

If the product is manufactured, entrepreneurs will surely be asked, “How much does it retail for?” This is followed by: “And what is your cost to produce it?”

Lesson: While any presentation should be attractive, not knowing the facts will result in the loss of credibility and, most likely, in the loss of any potential deals. You can learn a lot about combining style and substance.

Learn to negotiate

Here is the area where most people are weakest. They are really not prepared to negotiate, especially with people who negotiate all the time.

Many of the entrepreneurs come to the fair prepared to ask something like this: “I am asking for an investment of 100k for 20% of the capital stock of my company”. Your initial application is almost never accepted. Instead, one or more sharks will make one or more counter offers. This can be tricky when bidding with a 30 second time limit.

Lesson: Developing at least one backup plan is really important.

Learn to give yourself a second chance

If you pay attention, you will not only see the obvious things mentioned above, but you will see more subtleties that impact the agreements. If someone asks you a difficult question or does not accept your idea, it is important to stay calm and be pleasant.

In the last season, a businessman was so disgusted that one of the sharks wanted to buy 100 percent, everything, so that he (the shark) would never have to deal with him (the businessman).

Another creative innovator gave a very bad answer to the question, “Why should I do business with you?” However, she was so beloved that one of the sharks invited her to take a moment and give a better answer. This time his answer gave him a deal.

You can catch up

One of the best things about today’s technology is that you can miss something, but thanks to the internet you can often catch up. Also, on the ABC website they have added tips from sharks.

It’s not often that you can watch a show and learn (1) how to best present your ideas, (2) how to develop some negotiation skills, and (3) have fun while learning.

So go ahead: watch it, learn and enjoy.

Five Quality Tests to Apply Before Buying Discount Kitchen Cabinets

Before you buy discount kitchen cabinets, there are some quality tests that you should do. There are cabinet dealers who offer lower quality cabinets under the “discount” designation. But if you look around and shop carefully, you can find one of the dealers that offers high-quality cabinets at discount prices. Cabinets really aren’t the place to sacrifice quality in the name of savings when remodeling a kitchen.

By spending some time looking at the sample cabinets and asking key questions before deciding where to buy, you can ensure that you buy high-quality cabinets (where only the price is lower) rather than cheap, low-quality cabinets.

Here are the five things to look for:

  1. See how the drawers are made. The high-quality cabinet construction includes no staples or nails to hold the drawers together. They are not simply glued together. Good construction will make the drawers have a dovetail assembly. A good drawer in discount kitchen cabinets will be able to hold around 75 pounds when open. In general, it is advisable to avoid building drawers from thin particle board.
  2. Look at the sides and back of discounted kitchen cabinets. This is an important indication of quality. Cabinet Box – Sides, Top, Bottom, and Back must be solid wood at least half an inch thick. You will create a lot of heat and steam in your kitchen. Thin cabinet casings can warp. Particleboard, which has a tendency to warp, is also not recommended.
  3. The finished interior surfaces are a true test of the highest quality cabinets. Some discounted kitchen cabinets will leave these surfaces unfinished. This not only creates an unappealing appearance, it leaves the wood subject to damage and chips. This could be detrimental and very inconvenient.
  4. Look for adjustable shelves. This is a definite indication of the quality of the cabinets. It doesn’t mean there is something wrong with the cabinet construction, if they meet other quality tests, but it does cause a lot of wasted space that you probably need for storage in your kitchen. Shelves can bow (like book shelves) from weight and moisture. Insist on shelves that are at least 5/8 inch thick.

Check the quality of the hardware and the appearance of the hardware. Cabinet doors can be installed in two ways. One style of construction allows you to see the door hinges. In this case, you will want to check the finish of the hardware to make sure it is not damaged by moisture and matches other metals that are used prominently in your kitchen.

By paying close attention to these five discount kitchen cabinet tests, you can buy the quality you want at a discounted price and not risk buying inferior quality in the name of discounted kitchen cabinets.
