Do potted tomatoes give the same delicious, sweet tomatoes as those grown in the garden?

Growing tomatoes in containers is ideal for those with limited space or those who only have an outdoor patio. It is still a lot of fun and rewarding to plant tomato varieties in containers. A container tomato garden produces absolutely the same delicious fruit crops as an outdoor garden. But before we start talking about how to care for tomato plants, let’s first review what kinds of tomatoes grow perfectly well in a container tomato garden.

There are two types of tomatoes, determinate and indeterminate. Determinate tomatoes grow only so far and the fruits ripen at the same time in a short period of about two weeks. They are typically referred to as “bush” tomatoes because they tend to stop growing even while still in season. For the most part, this type of tomato does not need pruning, but it definitely requires staking or cages.

Determine which tomatoes are highly recommended for growing when you want to have a large number of tomatoes at one time to make sauces. While indeterminate tomato plants, also known as “vine” tomatoes, continue to grow and produce ripe fruit at the same time and reproduce again throughout the growing season. It only stops when the tomato plants are destroyed by frost. Indeterminate tomato varieties are not viable for growing tomatoes in containers.

Now that we have a clearer idea of which type of tomatoes are best for container tomato gardening, we can now easily choose from the available tomato plants that we should grow in our container garden. You can choose to grow Roma, tiny Tim, Sprite, Red Robin, Husky cherry red, Micro Tom, Patio F Hybrid and many more planters.

How to Care for a Tomato Container Garden: Drill a hole about 3/4 inch in the bottom of your container to allow for proper drainage that prevents root rot. You can cover the hole with a screen to prevent soil from falling through. Place your container garden of tomatoes on top of the ground to prevent diseases from entering the pots and potentially destroying the tomato plants.

Where to place the container with tomato plants: It is essential that your container growing tomato plants be in direct sunlight approximately 6-8 hours a day to get their full growth potential. However, if the weather turns unseasonably hot, it is recommended that you cover the tomato plants with newspaper or any material that can prevent excessive heat penetration.

How to care for seedlings growing in containers: Use potting soil with fertilizer to plant your tomatoes. For tomatoes in soil containers, more water and fertilizer are needed than ‘buried’ tomato plants. You can supplement irrigation with an organic ‘Miracle Grow’ to produce strong fruit crops. Make sure there is a sufficient supply of sunlight for your growing tomato plants.

After planting, be sure to water the plant by keeping the soil moist but not wet. It is also helpful to stake the plants as they grow to prevent the tomatoes in the container from rotting. When you see the topsoil drying out about three to four inches deep, drench the soil with water until you see water coming out of the holes. Avoid wetting the foliage.

You can also gently tap the flowering plant to shake it up a bit and allow the pollen to fall on the other flowers. It can be done frequently until you see new flowers grow. However, it is still better if you can expose your container growing tomato plants to sunlight every day. When tomato plants start to bear fruit, water them daily, especially on hot days. Don’t forget to fertilize regularly.

By following the simple steps above, anyone should be able to get great results growing tomatoes in containers. And you’ll be able to taste the goodness and sweetness of your container garden of tomatoes bearing fruit.

How to know if you are married to a sex addict in 12 easy steps

On any given day, a well-stocked newsstand is likely to have a magazine or two with a preview that reads something like this: “Are you cheating? How can you know for sure?” The signs of adultery are often the same and include a sudden interest in grooming and fitness, long nights at the office, a new cell phone password, and changes in the frequency of your sex life.

But infidelity does not necessarily mean that the cheating partner is a sex addict. While the warning signs of an affair may indicate a sex addiction, these twelve signs may indicate that an affair is simply part of the larger problem of sex addiction.

  1. A crossover with other addictions. Because addiction is a physiological dependency on brain chemicals stimulated by drugs or addictive behavior, the body reacts to drugs, alcohol, or sex in the same way. And because an effective way to stop addictive behavior is to replace it with something else, addicts frequently switch from one addiction to another. So if a person who has had an affair suddenly develops a dependency on alcohol, it could very well be a replacement of one addiction for the other.
  2. Located. Yes, cheaters band together to cover up their business. But addicts take lying to new levels. If a spouse claims to have ended an affair, but remains secretive and shady and unwilling to be completely transparent with his partner, it might be time to suspect addiction.
  3. Chaos. The first step in the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous is to realize that life has become unmanageable. A person who loses their wallet every third day, whose car has as much junk as Yankee Stadium after a double header, and who can’t seem to pay their water bill, could be battling an addiction.
  4. inexplicable rage. A husband who loses his temper because his wife forgot to pick up his dry cleaning and doesn’t put dinner on the table on time may feel guilty about his plans to meet her mistress later that night. Or he might be angry that he couldn’t get the dose from her. Anger is a legitimate emotion, and happily married couples will argue and fight. But exaggerated anger that seems to come out of nowhere is often a sign of a guilty conscience.
  5. Absence. Simply put, a spouse who doesn’t see the need to be with family is probably seeing the need to be with someone else. And the absence does not have to be purely physical. A spouse who is emotionally withdrawn is most likely invested elsewhere.
  6. The will to lose everything. A cheater wants to have his cake and also lick the frosting. An addict, however, can get so lost in the addiction that he seems willing to give up everything he loves for one more. Of course, even an addict will claim to love his spouse very much and want the marriage to work. The hard part is looking beyond the lips and seeing what is really in the heart. Rilke said: “A person is not who he is during the last conversation he had with her. He is who he has been throughout her relationship.”
  7. sexual neglect. I probably looked like Charlie Brown, slumped shoulders, banging my head against the wall, when my husband told me this: “You have to give me credit for one thing: I stopped having sex with you when the affair started.” Enough talk.
  8. To blame. Addicts refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Interestingly, guilt is also what perpetuates addiction because we cannot fix a situation for which we are not responsible.
  9. Suspicion. Remember the old playground taunt: “Whoever sniffed it dealt it”? But “it takes one to know one”? It is the same with guilt. Because we see through the lens of who we are, addicts are often mistrustful of others.
  10. Multiple cases. An affair does not necessarily mean that a marriage is doomed. We all make mistakes sometimes. But a second, third and fourth adventure? Serial cheating is an almost certain sign of sex addiction.
  11. Climbing. The nature of addiction is that it requires bigger hits for the same high. If the bad behavior becomes increasingly bizarre, sex addiction is a very real possibility.
  12. Obsession. Obsession and compulsion are trademarks of an addictive personality. Someone who seems to be overly obsessed with one idea or activity one day and jumps to a completely different object of interest the next could have a tendency toward addiction.

Of course, these signs cannot be used to professionally diagnose sex addiction. But being aware of them, especially in combination with marital problems, can help distinguish between an affair and a sex addiction.

basketball free throws

Shooting free kicks successfully requires confidence, good mechanics, routine, relaxation, rhythm and concentration. Routine, relaxation and rhythm contribute to concentration and confidence.

Confidence

Think positively. You always shoot from the same spot on the line. Nobody is guarding you. The basket is big. Three and a half balls fit in the hoop. With confidence, and solid mechanics, you can’t miss it.

Stand a few feet behind the free throw line until the referee hands you the ball. You will be more relaxed there. If you hear negative comments from the crowd or acknowledge your own negative thoughts, interrupt them with the word stop. Take a deep breath and let go of negative thoughts as you exhale. Replace them with a positive affirmation statement like I’m a shooter! Nothing but net! or Tell it!

Routine

Develop a solid routine for your free kick. A routine helps you relax, focus and shoot with rhythm. Most importantly, using a routine will improve your confidence. The routine may include dribbling a set number of times, checking a mechanic or two, using imagery to mentally practice your free kick just before you shoot it, and taking deep breaths to relax. Get into a solid routine and stick to it; it’s a mistake to copy fads or repeatedly change your routine.

Here’s a sample routine that you can adjust to suit you. Once you receive the ball, place your feet, making sure to line up the ball (not your head) with the center of the basket. Use the small notch mark on the floor in the exact middle of the free throw line that marks the free throw circle. Place your shooting foot slightly outside of this mark, aligning the ball with the center of the basket.

Most players use the one-handed shot for a free kick and take the time to control each of the basic mechanics: balance, hand position, elbow alignment, sight (focus), pace, and follow-through.

Set in a balanced posture. Some players bounce the ball a certain number of times to help them relax. When you dribble the ball, keep your shooting hand up. This helps you have your shooting hand facing the basket when you set up the high stance to shoot. Use a relaxed hand position and align your index finger with the valve on the ball. Next, check the alignment of your elbow. Some players don’t have the flexibility to have their hand facing the basket and their elbow in. It’s more important to have your shooting hand facing the basket than it is to have your elbow all the way in. If your hand tends to turn to the side when you bring your elbow in, let your elbow hang out a bit.

Relaxation

Learn to relax when you shoot free kicks. You have more time to think with free kicks than with other shots. Overexerting yourself can cause undue physical or emotional stress. Use deep breathing to relax your mind and body. For a free kick, you need to especially relax your shoulders; take a deep breath and let your shoulders drop and release. Do the same with your arms, hands and fingers. Learn to relax other parts of your body. Controlling your breathing and relaxing your muscles is especially helpful in a free throw routine.

Concentration

Before shooting, visualize a successful shot. Visualizing just before shooting can produce a smoother, more continuous rhythm and increase confidence. Just before shooting, focus on your target just above the front of the rim. Keep your focus on the target while shooting.

Rhythm

Start your shot high and use the up and down movement of your legs to get the rhythm rather than lowering the ball to get the rhythm. The up and down movement of the legs provides momentum for the shot and is particularly useful when shooting late in the game when the legs are tired. By starting with the ball high and using your legs to keep up the pace, you will lessen the chance of error that can come from bringing the ball down.

Shoot the free kick with a smooth and flowing rhythm. Use custom keywords to help establish a smooth, sequential pace for free kicks. Say your words to the rhythm of your shot. For example, if your trigger words are legs and through and your anchor word is yes, put them together: legs through yes! – in rhythm with your shot, from the start of your shot until the ball is released. Using custom keywords in this way sets your pace, improves your mechanics, and builds confidence.

act like a shooter

Exaggerate your follow through, keeping your eyes on the target and your shooting arm up until the ball hits the basket. Keeping your track is not only good mechanically, but more importantly, you look and act like a marksman.

common mistake

You feel tense before and during your free kick.

Correction

Use deep breathing to relax your mind and body. Inhale deeply and exhale fully. Relax your shoulders, letting them drop and slack. Do the same with your arms, hands and fingers. Learn to relax other parts of your body as needed.

Free kick drills

1. Daily free throw practice

Shoot a set number of free throws each day. Practice series of 10 free throws after other drills. Because a player rarely shoots more than two consecutive free throws during a game, when doing this drill, he never shoots more than two consecutive free throws without going out of line.

Practice under pressure. Use your imagination and compete against yourself. For example, imagine that time is up and scoring the free kick will win the game. Record the number of free throws made out of 100 attempts. Constantly challenge your own record. Do the same for consecutive free throws.

Be confident. Use positive affirmations before you go to the line and visualize a successful shot just before you shoot. Having a routine helps build confidence for free kicks. Use deep breathing and muscle relaxation techniques.

Focus. The final step before shooting is to remove all distractions and focus on the basket. Say your custom keywords in rhythm from the start of your free kick to the release of the ball. If you miss, visualize a successful free kick with good form, again saying your keywords.

Shoot 100 free throws. Score yourself based on the total number of free throws taken. Record your score. Also record the most number of consecutive free throws. Challenge your record every time you do the exercise.

2. Free kicks with eyes open and eyes closed

Research has shown that combining free throw practice with eyes closed and free throw practice with eyes open improves shooting more than free throw practice with eyes open alone. Shooting with your eyes closed removes vision as your dominant sense, heightening your other senses, particularly your kinesthetic sense (feeling of body movement) and touch.

Visualize a successful shot and focus on the basket immediately before closing your eyes. Shoot a free kick with your eyes closed.

Begin the drill by shooting 5 free throws with your eyes open. Have a teammate rebound each shot and keep track of how many shots he makes out of 5 and how many consecutive shots he makes.

After shooting 5 free throws with your eyes open, shoot 5 free throws with your eyes closed. Have a teammate bounce the ball and give you their feedback on each shot, including the reaction of the ball in the hoop. Use this feedback and your kinesthetic and tactile senses to adjust your shot as needed.

Complete the drill by shooting 5 free throws with your eyes open. Have a teammate rebound each shot and keep track of how many shots he makes out of 5 and how many consecutive shots he makes.

Score yourself based on the total number of free throws taken. Record your score. Also record the most number of consecutive free throws. Challenge your record every time you do the exercise.

The Dish: Ugly Americans at the World Championships

There is no joy in Krzyzewski-ville.

Maybe it’s because they’re celebrating it in Japan, so it’s a challenge to watch it on TV here in North America. Maybe it’s because Indiana’s 2002 World Championships (3rd place) and the 2004 Olympics (3rd place) still taste in our mouths. Maybe it’s because we still associate the United States in these world tournaments represented by the surly Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury and, well, we don’t like those guys.

But whatever the reason, no one seems to care about the World Cup in basketball.

Coach K leads the squad, which was unbeaten in the group stage until Wednesday. The USA opened with a 111-100 victory against Puerto Rico, which doesn’t sound like much until you realize that Puerto Rico shocked the world by defeating the United States in the first game of the Athens Olympics ago. two years. The US also crushed Yao and the Chinese and Primoz Brezec and the Slovenes.

It seemed that, before Wednesday’s game against Italy, Coach K had turned the current group into a more humble and less ridiculous group. The late Olympic team and (even more so) the 2002 World Championship team were very easy to criticize. Somehow, they seemed a symbol of American swagger and glee around the world: clueless millionaires dancing around the Parthenon, calling it an ugly pile of rocks. I’m an American, but did I really have to root for Marbury, Iverson and Lamar Odom? Ew. With Krzyzewski around, I had higher hopes: fundamental basketball hopes and, like, being able to enjoy my team’s victories.

Unfortunately, by the time adversity hit Italy on Wednesday, the USA stars reverted to one-on-one play and long-range shooting. They found themselves down 12 points in the second half, and only late performances from Carmelo Anthony and Dywane Wade saved them. Still, the seeds of disaster have been sown, and this group officially has the potential to become just as nasty as its predecessors. They haggle. They dribble a little more. They still haggle a little more. They threaten to go to the hoop. They threaten a little more. They get frustrated and pass the ball out of bounds. It happened over and over again. If it hadn’t been for Anthony and Wade saving America’s bacon on Wednesday, you’d be reading nothing but basketball humiliation articles once again.

And believe me: that humiliation will come. It’s probably not Coach K’s fault; he relies on really young players who play in a league that encourages one-on-one play and doesn’t teach their youngsters how to pass effectively. And that’s all international game: unselfishness. Unfortunately, selfishness is the biggest part of what these kids have. Oh yeah, that and the bad free throws.

Are the Red Sox fully cooked?

BoDog Bookmakers, BoDog.ws: No. Despite their recent struggles, the Red Sox remained 6 1/2 games behind in the AL East and four games off the pace in the wild-card seed. They still have 37 games to play, including four against the Yankees and three against the White Sox and Twins. If they can survive this next stretch (eight straight road games), the Red Sox could really get going in September, a month in which they play 16 home games.

The favorite college football team to win the National Championship on the BoDog board is Notre Dame, at 4-1. Are those odds so low due to the huge fan base of the Irish?

BB, BoDog.ws: They are not too short. Granted, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are coming off a 34-20 loss to the Buckeyes in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl, but the time seems right for them to make a serious run at the BCS National Championship. Quarterback Brady Quinn has been stellar under head coach Charlie Weis and many of his offensive and defensive players are coming back. Meanwhile, teams like Texas and USC have lost stars on both sides of the ball due to the NFL Draft. All signs point to Notre Dame or Ohio State being the favorites to go all the way.

Can you give us your favorite double-digit team (10-1 or higher) to win the 2007 NCAA title game and tell us why?

BB, BoDog.ws: A good sleeper pick would be the California Golden Bears, currently 12-1. While the USC Trojans have been making history in recent years, Cal has been quietly building. Now, with USC weakened by the NFL Draft, the Golden Bears could be on the verge of taking control of the Pac-10. Last season, Cal went 8-4 with a powerful running game that had running backs Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett in the backfield. The two running backs combined for 2,245 total yards and 16 touchdowns. With both running backs returning as juniors, Cal’s offense appears to be even better. On defense, preseason All-American tackle Brandon Mebane leads a team with eight returning starters. So absolutely, a Pac-10 crown is within reach, as is a national title.

With the PGA Championship behind us and Tiger Woods dominating as ever, the last big golf event of the season is the Ryder Cup in September. Since we’ll all be preoccupied with football by then, I’ll ask now: Does the Ryder Cup make a big splash? And do bettors usually bet on the side of the Americans no matter what?

BB, BoDog.ws: All true sports fans have time for the Ryder Cup, and bettors love it for its heads-up format. Sure, you can place head-to-head bets in a regular tournament, but the competitors aren’t actively competing against each other, they’re competing against the entire field. In other words, we expect a lot of interest in the Ryder Cup in September. Most golf bettors are informed enough to know that the Americans have struggled in past Ryder Cups; Tiger Woods’ Ryder Cup record is 7-11-2 in four appearances and Phil Mickelson is 9-8-3 in five appearances. With the event taking place at Ireland’s K Club, the Europeans will have home court advantage. We’ll have to see if national pride gets in the way of punters’ objectivity.

Blind Side head coach gets his dream job

Who will forget Sandra Bullock’s constant complaining to coach Burt Cotton in the Academy Award-winning film The Blind Side? The story of Michael Oher and his journey to the NFL is a moving one, and now it might be time to start a sequel. Coach Cotton in the movie is actually Coach Hugh Freeze, a Mississippi native who landed his dream job today when he was named the new head football coach at the University of Mississippi.

A 1992 Southern Mississippi graduate, Freeze landed his first coaching job at Briarcrest Christian School (the real name of Wingate Christian School from the film) that same year. He was the team’s offensive coordinator and defensive backs coach before being named head coach in 1995. Freeze won two state titles (2002 and 2004) at Briarcrest and was named Region 8-AA Coach of the Year five times and Region 8-AA Coach of the Year. Associated Press of the Year six times.

Freeze then followed his standout offensive lineman, Oher, to Mississippi where, in 2005, he became assistant athletic director for football external affairs. The next season he would become the tight ends coach and scouting coordinator, positions he held until 2007 when then-head coach Ed Orgeron was fired. In 2008, Freeze found himself coaching at NAIA Lambuth University (TN), where he went 20-5 in two seasons, including a perfect 11-0 regular season in 2009. The school went to its first playoff game in 11 years. and finished the year at 12.-1 and the sixth ranked team in the entire NAIA.

In 2010, Freeze joined the Arkansas State coaching staff as offensive coordinator and after Steve Roberts resigned at the end of the season, Freeze was named the new head coach. The Red Wolves have thrived under Freeze’s potent spread offense, but, surprisingly, they’ve also been very good on defense, ranking 15th in the country in scoring defense at 19.3 points per game.

Freeze inherits a team that didn’t win an SEC game this year, going 0-8 in conference and 2-10 overall, one of the wins against FCS (formerly Div. I-AA) of the South. Illinois. With a defense ranked near the bottom of FBS in several categories and an offense that isn’t much better, the task ahead will be mighty, but Freeze has won everywhere he’s been. He is busy assembling his staff, and his receiving coach Grant Heard and defensive line coach Chris Kiffin will reportedly follow him from Arkansas State to his new home in Ole Miss.

Affiliate Marketing Could Make Your Lifestyle Amazing

Almost everything we see and own today has commercial value, from the cell phone, tablet, and clothing, and even the little hair clip girls wear in their hair. And most of the time, consumers buy these products after seeing them on TV, hearing them on the radio, or reading about them in the newspaper. In short, advertising has played an important role in influencing people’s choice of a particular product.

In today’s tech-savvy world, the Internet has played an important role in people’s lives. Most now earn money through working online, while others sell their products over the Internet.

When selling products online, the seller must have a very good affiliate marketing strategy to be successful in online business.

Just like with traditional sales, affiliate marketing isn’t easy. But it’s not too difficult either. All you need is commitment, determination and patience. Patience is actually the best trait needed in internet marketing: patience to keep going despite being repeatedly turned down by customers.

In a nutshell, internet marketing, which is also called online marketing, is marketing or advertising your products or services on the internet, either on your own blog or website, through a blog or site owned by others, through through emails or social networks.

Internet marketing through your own website or blog is much cheaper as you don’t have to pay commissions to agents, unlike when you market your products through someone else’s site, where you pay a certain commission for each product recommended by site owner and purchased. by customers.

Apart from websites, you can also market your products by sending emails to potential customers and also through social media like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other sites.

When doing internet marketing for the first time, it helps if you have your own website where you can market your products or services. And the best way to attract potential customers to your site is to make sure that the contents of your website are informative, free of typos, and full of compelling images. Most of the time, the readers frequently visit the websites with good design and colorful content. Putting a “killer headline” on your site further entices customers to check out what you offer.

Posting typo-free content with an impactful headline also works well when doing internet marketing through social media. And don’t forget to put your contact information where readers can leave comments or ask for more information about your products or services.

Internet marketing is definitely what’s hot today. And you can be successful in this field if you follow a unique internet marketing strategy that others don’t.

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut Game Review

By all accounts and current generation standards, Deadly Premonition is a mediocre game at best. However, if you can get through the mud and get to the precipice of the game, you’ll probably be glad you did. Deadly Premonition comes from the creative mind of Hidetaka Suehiro (aka Swery). His vision showed that gaming can be about so much more than just high pixels and frame rates. Trust me this time; if you play the game, you’ll see my point. However, get past these notions and you will have a unique gaming experience. The town of Greenvale serves as the main setting; and offers a very Twin Peaks feeling of aura. During his investigation, as the main protagonist Francis York Morgan; just call it York, because that’s what everyone does, you will be in charge of investigating a series of gruesome murders. Legend has it that the murders are being committed by none other than the town legend Raincoat Killer.

During your stay in Greenvale, you will have to interrogate a variety of suspects; all very colorful in their own unique way. You can take part in a variety of side quests, such as finding an old souvenir for the hotel owner in town. You can even go fishing; although, this is a very annoying process. During his investigations, York will often be cut off from “white” (Premonition’s version of a somewhat normal world); and being transferred to a “red” or evil existence. Here, the game becomes a Silent Hill of spells. Monstrosities of various shapes will come to you for you to dispose of properly. One aspect of this world’s version is that every annoying creature you kill says the same thing… “I don’t want to die.” First time, not so bad. After 100 or so, it gets downright annoying.

As you play the game, you will be required to complete some puzzle activities; neither of which is very difficult, but it breaks things down a bit. One of the most intriguing puzzles requires you to get the correct umbrellas from various rooms and place them on figurines. If your puzzle-solving skills aren’t up to snuff, you’ll hear York say more than once, “we’re still missing a vital piece of the puzzle.” This also gets old. However, apart from the repeated snippets of various dialogues; the rest of the script is what gives this game merit. The story is really interesting and will probably keep you on your toes until the end.

On the gameplay front, there have apparently been some major improvements since the original X-Box release. While I’ve never played the original, common complaints seemed to flow around the gunplay and navigation. During my time with the PS3 version, the fight sequences were pretty standard for most third-person shooters. It wasn’t great (like not being able to move while aiming); but I can only assume that it is a vast improvement over the original. Travel sequences can be cumbersome. There is no way to set waypoints during the game, so you have to rely on a minimap on the left side of the screen. It works, but it’s very outdated. Also, if you don’t take a radio (during an early sidequest), Greenvale can require some significant driving distances that get tedious.

That said, even with its annoyances and sub-par graphics, I’m still glad I played The Director’s Cut. The script and much of the dialogue are the best aspects of the game. See through his blatant weaknesses, and you’ll be glad you spent time in Greenvale, trying to solve the Raincoat murders!

NFL Week 7 Point Spread Picks

Baltimore Ravens (-3) VS. BUFFALO BILLS: ******* WE HAVE A STRONG OPINION ABOUT THIS GAME.

****BEST BET****New England Patriots (-16.5) VS. MIAMI DOLPHINS:****THIS GAME IS ONE OF OUR TOP FIVE BETS FOR THE WEEK.

****BEST BET***** NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-8.5) VS. Atlanta Falcons:*****THIS GAME IS ONE OF OUR TOP FIVE BETS FOR THE WEEK.

NY GIANTS (-9) VS. San Francisco 49ers: The Giants continue to roll as they overcame a potential cheat game against the Falcons in dominant fashion and now face the 49ers with offensive challenges that could still be without QB Alex Smith. The ‘Niners’ offensive line has been terrible all year, and this is a bad scenario in which to deal with the dominating pressure from the Giants. If backup Trent Dilfer is behind center, then center is going to turn ugly fast. The giants are going full steam ahead and there should be no let-up at home. THE PICK: New York Giants (-9)

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (-8.5) VS. Arizona Cardinals: Arizona now relies on Tim Rattay at quarterback after Kurt Warner was injured last week. Rattay just came off the street a week ago and he looked terrible throwing 3 interceptions against the Panthers. Things don’t look much better against the Washington Redskins’ tough defense. Sean Taylor, a ball hawk, will be on all of Rattay’s shots and the Cardinals haven’t been able to cover in all of their road games this season. The Redskins played hard against Green Bay last week and this team must respond in a big way at home. THE PICK: Washington Redskins (-8.5)

*****BEST BET*****OAKLAND RAIDERS (-2.5) VS. Kansas City Chiefs: **** THIS GAME IS ONE OF OUR TOP FIVE BETS FOR THE WEEK.

****BEST BET*****Tennessee Titans (-1.5) VS. HOUSTON TEXANS: *****THIS GAME IS ONE OF OUR TOP FIVE BETS FOR THE WEEK.

DALLAS COWBOYS (-9.5) VS. Minnesota Vikings: The Vikes head out on the road to take on the Cowboys, who will be out for blood after losing at home to the Patriots. The Vikings will certainly play a lot due to their road win against the Bears, but the Cowboys are the clearly superior team that won’t fail to cover in back-to-back home games. Dallas is in a good spot here in that scenario, as the teams that couldn’t cover in the first game of back-to-back home games have gone 31-10-1 ATS in game two. THE NATIONAL TEAM: Dallas Cowboys (-9.5)

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) VS. DENVER BRONCOS: ****WE HAVE A STRONG OPINION ABOUT THIS GAME.******

***BEST BET*****CINCINNATI BENGALS (-6.5) VS. New York Jets: *****THIS GAME IS ONE OF OUR TOP FIVE BETS FOR THE WEEK.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-8.5) VS. St. Louis Rams: The Rams get back quarterback Marc Bulger this week as they travel to Seattle to take on one of their biggest division rivals. The Seahawks are coming off a terrible home loss against the Saints and should be prepared for a big effort here. Despite getting Bulger back, the Rams are still a mess as their injury-plagued offensive line won’t be able to keep him up. Seattle has been very inconsistent, but the fact that one of their big rivals gets in should be enough to motivate them to win big. THE NATIONAL TEAM: Seattle Seahawks (-8.5)

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-5) VS. Chicago Bears: This looks to be a low scoring defensive game as both offenses have struggled to put points on the board. The Eagles won last week against the Jets on the road, but the offense continued to struggle, while the Bears scored a ton of points but also gave up a ton in a dismal home loss to the Vikings. Quarterback Brian Griese is clearly getting comfortable on offense, and the defense can’t play worse than it did last week. Eagles have a good chance to win the game, but it should be close. THE NATIONAL TEAM: Chicago Bears (+5)

Indianapolis Colts (-3) VS. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS:*****WE HAVE A STRONG OPINION ON THIS GAME.
